Frame This Moment - Quiet Mornings.

Happy Thursday!!! And Frame This Moment Day!! Today's little snapshot was a sweet morning when Jane woke up a bit early and joined me downstairs for a little while while I was still reading...

This little girl has always loved sitting with us in the mornings, and it's a core memory of something I love. I did a post on "quiet times" here, and my have they looked different over the years, but this season has been one I've come to love just the same. Usually she will play in her room for a while if she wakes up early, but on this particular morning in the quiet with Andy still sleeping, she asked if she could come get her Bible and sit with me. Cue all the tears haha A moment I definitely wanted to bottle up and frame to remember.
Watching her little fingers flip through her Bible, telling me she was also in "Isaiah," and just enjoying the still and quiet for a minute (something that's more and more rare around here 😉).
It feels like just yesterday this was our life...
And this...
And this...
And here we are today...those little three year old hands growing just a bit too fast... My grandmom gave Jane this little Bible that she had found, and it's become a little staple for her. She has lots and lots of kids' Bibles that have pictures and stories that we read and talk about, but this Bible feels all too much like Mom and Dad's and she loves it so much. It's been really sweet to watch. It looks like we might just have to get Andy one soon too haha

Just a little moment and morning to frame in my mind. A small practice to slow down and enjoy the sweetness of the seasons. Thanks for sharing yours too and for following along as well!! As always, here's to enjoying the little things, celebrating the big things, and soaking in all the moments in-between!!

I'll plan to see you back here tomorrow!
Sending lots of love!

  1. Good job, Mama! You and you husband have modeled Bible reading as a "normal" part of daily life that just feels natural to your children now and will go with them through life!
