Hi friends!!!! Goodness, have I missed this space. Summer has just gotten away from us over here, and I had to take a week last week to get things a little more situated and settled and just be present in the moment for a bit. Is everything completely situated and settled?! No...hahaha but having a week with the littles to just enjoy the summer days sure was needed and helped our little summer rhythm a bit.

Happy Thursday!! Today I have two posts for your Thursday - a little life lately recently and of course a frame this moment too!! When I started my blog, July was always my favorite month to blog. As a teacher, I had the summers off and June felt like the perfect resting month and July the fun month, and blogging always fell into that category. This July has felt busy and fun with lots of family and travel and calendar things, but I always love when I can get back on here. It's a favorite for me, and thanks as always for following along on here as well!!

We had such a great weekend up in Louisville and came back to what we didn't know would be one of the busier weeks of our summer. Today I thought it would be the perfect way to kick off July to share our "Summer of Letter Fun 2026 version that finally made it from my phone to paper this past weekend. We had SO much fun working our way through these last year, so Jane was VERY excited to make a new one for the summer.

Aww July 1st!!! I just love the start of a new month!! A fresh new start and so much to look forward to in a fun summer month!! 

My Favorite Way to Cut Watermelon 🍉

Happy LAST day of June!!! How did this month just FLY by?! I thought the perfect post to end the month was a little post on our summer's favorite fruit. A few summers ago, I was trying to think of a way to cut a watermelon without getting the amazingly sweet pink part on our cutting board (because way too often it was tasting like way too many other veggies...), and after some trial and error, I landed here, and I've never looked back... 

Friday Favorites - Father's Day, VBS, and Swimming

Happy, Happy FRIDAY!!! We have had one busy week over here at the Riddick household... We got back Sunday night and hit the ground running, and it's safe to say that we are very ready and excited for this summer weekend ahead. We have lots of home time on our calendar and our goal is to actually finally move our "Summer of Letter Fun" from my phone to our refrigerator☀️! Well, Arthur Dickson passed away on April 20th, but we get to celebrate his life this week, and goodness, we are grateful for him and for the life he lived and the Savior he loved.

Happy Wednesday!! Today I thought I would jump on board the blog link-up about things we are making more time for. Everyone knows with kids, there's not a whole lot of "extra time," but time and seasons have a funny way of always making you think there will be "more time" in the next season...and so far, I have found that not to be the case hahaha So, today, I sat down and brainstormed just a few things that I've been trying to "make" time for more even in this busy season with littles...
