Happy Thursday and Frame This Moment Day!! Today's little snapshots came from a little trip we took to a Children's Museum for Jane's birthday weekend. We knew we wanted to do something fun to make it a little extra special, and a Saturday morning trip was just what we needed!

Happy Wednesday, my friends. Thank you so much for all of your kind messages and prayers last week about Pierce's granddad. We were so thankful to have been able to see him, visit with him, and be with family. We are praying for his last days and are so incredibly grateful that he knows Jesus. ❤️ Today I thought I'd share just a few snapshots of a little life lately around here... It's been busy and full and filled with hard and good of course, but here are just a few little snapshots for your Wednesday morning!

Well, we just had the sweetest possible weekend over here... April 5th happened to fall on Easter Sunday this year, and what a gift to get to celebrate Jesus' resurrection along with sweet Jane turning FOUR.

Pierce has recovered, Jane is 100%, my back is almost there, and our backlog of laundry and house chores are slowly getting checked off as well. Happy March

Hi friends! Happy March!!! A new month. Last week hit us pretty hard over here in the Riddick house... Jane started the week with a fever, I had a back injury that coincided with a work trip for Pierce, and he came home with a pretty bad bug that he picked up, so needless-to-say, we are hopeful the beginning of March starts off a little better than February ended... But today, I just have a little post to say Happy March!!

Aww friends, Happy Friday!!! Well, tomorrow marks FIVE years of this little blog, and I love celebrating with a little Q&A. You can find others that I've done in the past here, but it's a favorite post to read on other people's blog, so I hope it will be a fun way to spend your Friday morning as well! 

2025 in Review

Oh, 2025. You were one of our favorites to date. This little "Year in Review" post slipped my mind at the beginning of this year, but boy am I glad that I remembered... It may be the middle of February, but looking back and remembering a few of the highlights from each month will forever be a favorite. And 2025 was a special one. It was of course filled with lots of joy and lots of hard, but I think when I look back, I just remember the fun. We tried really hard to fill each month with a lot of FUN, and it makes me smile as I look back on so many of these snapshots. Summer 2025 will forever be a favorite of ours. The ages of the kids, the season we were in with jobs and life, the adventures we had, the small moments we soaked in, we just loved it all. Add in the spring, birthdays, the fall, and holidays, and it adds up to be a favorite!

Happy, happy Friday!!! We are looking forward to this weekend and can't believe we are closing in on the end of February...it has felt like it has flown by. The other thing that has felt like it has flown by has been the Olympics!! We are going to be sad that the Closing Ceremony is on Sunday...We have just loved, loved, loved watching it this year. The kids have loved it, we've loved it, we've stayed up way too late and have been way too invested at times, but what a fun few weeks it's been! Today I just have a few simple joys for your Friday!
