Happy November!!

Happy NOVEMBER!!! Wow, wow, wow...how did we get here so quickly?! I can't believe 2026 is winding down... We sure tried our best to soak in October and goodness do I have so many little moments and snapshots to share!! But today, I thought I would just take a minute to welcome in this new month with you!

Oh, November. It's always felt like such a blend of a month for us. There's pumpkins on some porches and Christmas lights on others. There's turkeys out and pumpkin spice candles lit, while also Christmas trees up and Christmas music going. And as a house with two middle children as parents, I have a feeling this November will have a little of all of it over here this year. 

The kids can't wait to get our turkey back out, which somehow hilariously got named "Pinky" this past year. I have it in our linen closet upstairs and there were several naps this summer where Andy would wake up and come walking down the stairs with "Pinky" as he would say. We died laughing the first time he did it... I think perhaps he was trying to find the word "turkey," but couldn't quite get there? Hahah so, now "Pinky" lives in our linen closet, and the kids are VERY excited for him to join the fun this month! 

Andddd November always marks Christmas village for us every year. Jane has been asking me all the time how close we are to going, and it always makes my heart so very happy. 

Of course any day now, these Christmas boxes are going to make their way inside for all of our favorite time of year! 

The kids have been trying to find leaves in our yard to make into a pile...we keep telling them, just wait. They're coming. Trust us hahaha 

We're going to soak up more "fall" mornings with this gorgeous weather... 

And of course enjoy that sweet Thanksgiving holiday too!!
