Jane Arbel Riddick

Well, it's June 1st and we have some long overdue news to share on here... The sweetest news in the Riddick Family is that we welcomed Jane Arbel Riddick on April 5th, 2022 and are more in love than we ever knew we could be... ❤️

We are so thankful for the blessing of this sweet little girl and the memory that April 5th will always hold for us. 

She came after a very long labor, nearly 48 hours, but we were so thankful for a sweet healthy baby and for many, many answered prayers. 

Jane means "God is gracious," which we truly feel like He has been so gracious to us in every part of this process. And Mount Arbel is a mountain overlooking the Sea of Galilee that is said to be where Jesus went up and prayed - Pierce and I got to spend a day there when we were in Israel and will never forget it so we thought it would be a beautiful reminder of prayer for her.

I will never forget walking up these steps...

And sitting beside Pierce on this very rock ❤️ A memory I don't think we will ever forget... 

And the sweet lesson the Lord taught me on top of that mountain that I will always remember...I still have these very flowers dried and framed in our house today.

Jane, we pray that this special place and part of your name becomes a special part of who you are and how your little life can bless others.

She was 7lbs 6.9oz and 20 inches long and every bit a gift from the Lord. Thanks for celebrating this sweet little blessing in our family. 

Jane, we already love you more than you could ever know!
