Birthday Week 🎉🌴☀️

It's Birthday Week over here... And what a fun one to celebrate this year!! Pierce and I both have May birthdays within the same week, and I thought I would just document a few fun memories from this past year... It flew by, but it was sure a good one! 

What a year... 

We had one little one learn to swing, learn to swim, ride her bike, and finish her first year of preschool, while another one started walking, talking, making us laugh, and hasn't stopped smiling (or climbing)... 

We've gone on little date nights, Christmas date nights, mini-golf date days, had adventures in Texas, Kentucky, and spent a weekend in the Smoky Mountains...

We've had movie nights, "school" mornings, lots of fun summer days, snowy ice-storm days, and about a million in-between "normal days.."

We've gone on beach trips, adventured to the county fair, the Kentucky State Fair, ran our third annual 5k, and made our favorite Eric Carle storybook come to life... 

We've laughed, we've cried, we've had about a million cups of tea and gone through about a million and one boxes of Simple Mills brownies... 

We've prayed, we've grown, we've said goodbye to Pierce's grandpa, visited family, served in our church, hosted our small group, and finished a first year of a new career...

This summer marks 10 years from our first date and 13 years of friendship, and somehow, this birthday week keeps getting a little sweeter! 

We are headed to the beach to celebrate - the 9th is Pierce's, the 12th is mine, and the 10th is Mother's Day, so we are making the most and hoping to spend some time in the sand and sunshine with this little fam of four. 

I'm going to take a bit of time to soak in all in, and I'll plan on hopping back on here when we are back!
