Life Lately 5.6.26

Happy Wednesday in May!! We are loving the beginning of this sweet month over here, and this week I am knee deep in packing and prepping for a little birthday (x2!), Mother's Day, and kick-off to summer beach trip that the four of us are headed to at the end of the week. Today I thought I'd just share a few little snapshots and pictures from life lately around here though...

So many paint sticks, so much paper and so many flowers these days, and I couldn't love it more... 

Jane and I snuck away on Saturday morning to a little tea party that two sweet friends put on from our church. Jane was so excited to gift them this sweet little Tea Party book that we love so much!

So excited to see her name. :) 

And truly. so excited to drink the hot tea... that's my girl. ☺️🫖 Lots of tea times had at home and at Nana's, and she couldn't wait to have some with sweet little friends! 

And of course drawing a flower garden was a true favorite as well!! 

Meanwhile this kiddo...making us all laugh and keeping us all busy 😉 

But we couldn't love him more! 

These two have been two peas in a pod recently! 

Including Andy's favorite part of the day when he gets to pick up "Jean," as he says, haha and carry her backpack.

Speaking of school, we got to celebrate this little cutie after her Spring Music Program at school! What a treat! 

We were so proud of her!! 

I found a pair of some wide leg white jeans this spring... 

And excited to have them for this season! 

And the three of us experimented with some sourdough cookies for the first time, which the kids were VERY excited about 😉 hahaha Pierce snapped this when he got home from work, and I loved the memory!! 

We watched a friends' little boy one night, and my teacher-self couldn't help myself...we painted and... 

Sent him home with a little Mother's Day craft 😉 hahaha Some things are just engrained in you 🍎hahaha 

Which speaking of crafts...this little one found my stash of tissue paper recently...so, we got out the contact paper... 

And have loved having this little butterfly a part of our spring days!! 

Snuggled up on slow mornings... 

And drawing on almost every afternoon 😉 ...these are sure some sweet days, and I'm trying hard to be present for them and soak them all in!! They're far from perfect and never free from messes and a little (or a lot of) chaos haha, but I love them all just the same! 

Just a few little snapshots of some life lately around here recently... I hope you're finding some sweetness in your days as well! Here's to enjoying the little things, celebrating the big things, and soaking in all the moments in-between, even and especially in and through the chaos and fun of life with littles. :)
