HAPPY, HAPPY FRIDAY!! Aww, how is this the last Friday of May?! We love, love, love this sweet month. It's been a really fun one for us with birthday fun, some travel and lots of family time as well. We are excited to ring in June next week though!! Today I just have a few favorites from our week - little snapshots and simple joys. I hope you are finding them in your week as well!! Here are a few of ours!
This little kid, this pool, and this flamingo. All forever favorites!
I took this last summer and feel like I blinked...
And now he's big enough to love this thing as well!! We love it!
Another favorite this month has been this AMAZING sandbox that my dad and his good friend John built for the kids.
We had one that we LOVED as kids, and he really wanted one that the kids could play in and make memories too.
Safe to say, it was a hit and a BIG favorite!!! Now, to get one in our yard...hahaha
Speaking of our yard, it is a favorite right now too... When we moved in to this sweet home in 2018, we were just married and renting as newlyweds whose thoughts were very far from swing sets and grass...hahhaa but fast forward eight years...
And after we ended up being able to buy our sweet home in 2022, my dad and Pierce started working hard to begin transforming the yard...
And one of Pierce's greatest accomplishments has been getting grass to grow back here when we thought it might have been a lost cause...
It's definitely a favorite for all of us right now, and we still have dreams and plans a lot of work still to do (including fixing our lights that the ice storm took out), but we are grateful for this little slice of childhood, and it's taught us a lot about living in our season, stewarding what we have been given, and being thankful for where the Lord has us right now.
Speaking of current seasons... Andy's closet needed a big refresh this spring/summer. It's not a completely done project yet (you should see the other side of the room haha), but this book shelf has been a game changer for us!!
I saw it recently, and knew we had to try it. We love books over here, and I felt like this was a fun way to display them/keep them off the floor at the same time.
Jane has shelves similar to these these in her room from when I first put her room together, and we love both for keeping and displaying books for sure!!
And lastly, just summer days... Eating Chipotle way too late with both kids on road trips...
Hanging with cousins!!!
Walking through my parents' amazing trails...
And soaking in a sweet Memorial Day weekend in the sandbox...

Wow your yard transformation is amazing!!
