Happy Thursday and Frame This Moment Day!!! A day of the week I love to just take a second to slow down and soak in a small moment in time that might otherwise go unnoticed...today's little moment happened with Little Janie this week...
This little one is LOVING helping in the kitchen right now, and although it always seems to add a little bit more of everything (time, mess, supervision, spills, etc), it always seems to be worth it. She has seen me make oatmeal too many times to count, but on this particular morning, she asked if she could help, and it was an easy yes! We set the timer, I showed her how to stir and then wait, she insisted we put a hot pad on the handle even with a stainless steel pan (she sees us do this with our iron skillets all the time), and while little Andy crawled around the kitchen, we made oatmeal for breakfast. I took this little snapshot in the middle, and it really is a little moment I hope to always remember. Almost three year old Jane, a little clip in her hair, mismatched pajamas, slippers on, and helping in the kitchen. ❤️
