What's Up Wednesday [March 2025]

Happy Wednesday!!! I thought it would be fun to jump into today's What's Up Wednesday blog link-up with just a little bit about what's been going on with the Riddicks these past few weeks... It's been a full month, but we have loved the time outside in the sunshine the very most!! Here are just a few snapshots for your Wednesday!! 

What We've Been Eating:

We've been loving our new little grain-free breakfast on Thursday morning! I wrote a little bit more about it here. 

We've been loving smoothies, our Mediterranean bowls, and the start to our spring and summer salads for sure! And this little baby has been loving food almost as much as Andy has these days 😉 

What We're Reminiscing About:

Goodness, March 26th is a special day because it was little Jane's official Due Date! We loved seeing this day on the calendar and counting down (plus 10 extra days 😉) to meet this little one. We didn't know boy or girl, so it was sure a special kind of wait...I can't believe this was THREE years ago now!!! 

What We're Loving:

I always love our clothesline, especially this time of year!! 

What We've Been Up To:

We got to spend a weekend up in Louisville seeing my parents at just about our favorite little place ever... 

And then Pierce's parents came in town for a weekend visit too, so we've gotten to spend a lot of time with family this month!!

What We're Dreading:

Well, I used to love going to the dentist as a kid, but now after having two kids, I seem to be dreading my appointment this week a little...hahaha

What We're Working On:

This little one loves cooking anything and everything with Mommy and Daddy in the kitchen, and we love it!! 

What We're Excited About:

This little one is on. the. move. and we are just counting down till he starts trying to take those first few steps! 

What We've Been Watching/Reading:

We love having "pizza and a show" on Wednesdays with our Survivor and Amazing Race classics... But we also love Gordon Ramsey's Next Level Chef every spring too. We can't keep up with this many shows, but we try and it makes rainy afternoon nap time on the weekends a little more special too! I'm also looking forward to taking Denise Hunter's newest book on vacation with us at the end of the month! 

What We've Been Listening To:

There's not much I love more than having our screen porch door open in the springtime... Painting, playing, birds chirping, little breeze...the best sounds of spring! 

What We've Been Wearing:

I'm channeling my love for white in the summer a little early with this spring weather! 

And Jane wears this little purple purse into any store she can to "match Mommy's..." So sweet! 

What We're Doing This Weekend:

We have a few spring yard projects to start on this weekend, and we love anything that gets us outside working for sure!! 

What We're Looking Forward To Next Month:

Goodness, celebrating this little one will always be SUCH a special part of April!!! We are looking forward to April 5th SO much!! 

What We're Thankful For:

These three are keeping me going and the very biggest blessing in this season of life!!
