Jane's Third Birthday Party

Aww today I thought it would be sweet to share a few pictures from Jane's little "Color Me Three" birthday party that we had last weekend.

We had originally thought we would just do a little family day to celebrate Jane this year, but she kept mentioning many, many people that she couldn't wait to have here for her birthday, so we decided to order some balloons and invite a few friends and family over to celebrate with Jane, and it ended up being a really, really sweet day. 

This little one is just FUN and easy to celebrate, so it was sweet getting to see her with so many sweet friends and have our family, neighborhood, and church community collide for a sweet Saturday afternoon. 

When thinking about what to do, we decided we'd do a "Color Me Three" little theme to celebrate Jane's sweet little creative side. 

My sweet sister made the BEST little cookies that were perfect for the day!

I mean, just soo cute!! Jane is in good company in the creative world!!!

We had some balloons in the playroom...

And added some color to our bulletin board.

I added a little walk down memory lane above her kitchen... 

Those squishy little baby years!!! Take me back... 

And the sweetest little 12-24 month memories too!! 

And here we are turning three years old 😭 

We grabbed some Chick-fil-A and a few snacks for everyone...

Audrey helped me make this absolutely amazing vanilla cake again... If you're looking for a perfect vanilla cake recipe, this is the best one we've ever come across...and I'm a vanilla girl through and through hahaha 

We put out a few colorful flowers... 

And it was just special welcoming people into our home that morning for sure!! 

We put out a table outside with white butcher paper and lots of markers for everyone to draw on... 

And one of the most special parts was our sweet neighbors offered to bring over their little bounce house, which as you can imagine was a big hit...

To her sweet friends...Jane had the time of her life...truly hahaha 

She's a sweet one to celebrate!! 

We loved getting to see some sweet friends that I used to teach with! Jane just couldn't believe "Gabe" was at HER birthday party hahaha 

And I felt so blessed they would come too!!! A "color" theme party seemed right up all of our alleys with many, many days spent in the classroom together! 

And we sure are thankful for this sweet fam and lot watching these two families grow!!! 

Jane was just thrilled Nana and Papa were there too! 

And we had to get a picture with the birthday girl too! 

Jane, I can't believe you are THREE!!! What a special day to celebrate YOU!!! 

It was sure a sweet day and a sweet little party, and we are thankful for the sunshine, for all the friends and family that came and for everyone for making Jane turning three the very best celebration!!
