HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY!!! Aww we just love a good Friday around here!! We are headed to Louisville today too, which makes this an extra special one!! Today I just have a few snapshots and favorites from the week over here...simple and small joys for your Friday morning! I hope you are finding them in your days as well!! Here are a few of ours this week!!
Well the first is most definitely these three sweet friends at the zoo on Saturday... After our 5k, we grabbed some breakfast and a few snacks and took our stroller and fam to meet a few friends at the zoo. We were just racking up our walking miles that day!!
Jane loves these two little friends SO much, and we were excited to hang with the families too!
Andy, of course, loved all the animals...especially this BEAR that felt so close to him...
We loved hanging with this crew!! The toddlers, babies, and double strollers and all... thankful for community from church and a fun Saturday morning!
The second favorite is Jane's little Meet-the-Teacher morning 🍎 She was so excited to head to school and meet her teacher. She painted a little card and on the way out, asked if we could pick a few flowers to take her as well. It was a sweet morning, and a favorite little memory for sure!
Her baby doll was right there with her backpack (and shoes!) on ready to go too 😂
Speaking of painting, Jane has been watercoloring up a storm, and it's been fun getting to hang up some of her creations in our house...
All of these were unprompted as she just sat for maybe an hour on our porch and painted... I love her creative little self so much!!
This is currently a favorite little scene in our house... Jane would look out this window ALL the time when people would come over, and Andy has taken his position too... My favorite is waiting for Daddy to come home from lunch. A core memory for them I'm sure it will be...
And lastly, a matching little water cup for the littles... I came across this tiny and sweet silicone water tumbler, and it is a true favorite over here right now!
And that about sums it up for just a few little favorites over here this week! We are off to finish packing the car and make our way to Nana and Papa's house for the weekend. I'm not sure who is looking forward to it more, but I think the winner might be Jane hahaha I'll plan to see you back here next week, and I hope everyone has a fun and restful weekend!! oh my goodness, her meet the teacher pic with the baby and the backpack! SO sweet! We had that tumbler and ended up throwing it away because we had trouble with mold in the ridges on the top where the cup goes together. definitely keep an eye out! Stinks because that cup is SO cute!
