Titans 5k 2025

Happy Wednesday!!! This past weekend was a special one as we checked something off of our Summer of Letter Fun and made it the third annual little August tradition... 

Two years ago, Pierce and I made a goal to run a 5k as a family (at the time just me, him, and Jane), and we found the Titans 5k at the end of the summer. We signed up and spent the summer going on little jogs to get ready for it, and three years later, it's become a favorite little tradition! 

Goodness, a lot has changed in three years, but I wouldn't want to run the race with anyone else!! 

Last year...little Andy was just barely TWO months... 

And the year before that...little Jane was 16 months... 

Pierce has had a little issue with his knee for most of this summer, so I assumed we would be walking most of it and started the race in a t-shirt and with my hair down... 

And while we did walk some, I ended up pushing the stroller for a bit of the course while we jogged to save Pierce's knee... 

And I got sweaty FAST 😂 

That stroller is heavy with both of them, mixed in with the hills and the heat and I got a true workout that morning hahaha 

But I loved doing it with this guy! 

And these two were troopers and loved running/playing on the field at the end! 

We snagged a quick picture at their fun sign, grabbed a few bananas, and headed to a favorite breakfast place after the race! It was a morning for the books and a little tradition that we've all come to love! 

Just a little random new years goal that has become a family favorite throughout the years! And it's the best getting to kick off the FOOTBALL season with a little love for our own city's team too!!! 🏈  Fall, football, we are ready for you now!!!! 

Thanks for following along in this little journey! It's been a fun summer with these three filled with small things that have become sweet memories!!
