Jane's First Day 🍎

Well, our sweet little Jane had her second first day last week, and it was full of all of the best little memories and snapshots.  I thought I'd share just a few on this Tuesday. A Frame This Moment kind of day for sure...  

I love this sweet little one SO much, and I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how FAST she is growing... 

She had been counting down till she got to go back to "school," and was so more than ready...

It won't surprise anyone that she was just as excited if not more so... 

...than last year hahaha the Lord had opened up a door for her to start in a sweet little two year old's class last fall at a church here in town, and she was very excited to be going back in "the three year old's class." 

She had her backpack, shoes (from her sweet Papa and Nana), her watch, and our little sign all ready to go. 

And that morning, we gifted her with a new little water bottle for school that I think was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of her week. I think she has slept with it every night since...hahaha 

As you can tell, she was very excited to take good care of it that morning... 

And I'm not kidding when I say I don't think it's left her sight since hahaha 

She was VERY excited to take her backpack again... 

Wasn't THIS just yesterday?! 

We snapped a little picture with Daddy... Why do I feel like she looks like she's 8 years old here... 😅😭

And we were off...sweet little one was so excited... 

Little Andy is her number one fan and was of course just obsessed with everything she was doing and experiencing that morning hahaha 

We said a prayer and sent her off for the day, and she had the very best morning. 

And because I can't help myself when August roles around, Andy and I grabbed some red balloons that morning to make a few apple balloons to celebrate, a little treat for her teacher for the first day, and some ingredients for the very best little apple cookies. We had made Alinda's amazing apple cookies last year on her first day, and Jane asked if we could have them again. They are a fan favorite over here and perfect for the 1st day!! 🍎

She just had a half day, so we picked her up and had lunch at the bagel shop. It was the sweetest getting to hear about her day, and Andy loved having his bestie back for a very favorite little brunch. 

Just SO proud of this little one and praying for her year as we continue to trust the Lord with all decisions for school, both big and small.  

Thanks for following along in this little journey over here... Time doesn't seem to be slowing down at all, but we are trying hard to soak it all in!!! I'll plan to see you back here tomorrow!!
