Frame This Moment - Daddy Daughter Dance

Happy Thursday, friends! I hope everyone has been having a great week. We are back from DC and have been getting settled back into Nashville life. Today I just have a little moment to frame from our weekend up there where Jane and Lucy got to go to their first Daddy Daughter Dance with their Daddys and boy, what a special little moment it was!
This was our third attempt to make it up to DC this Spring, and it happened to fall on a night of a neighborhood Daddy Daughter Dance, which made for the most special Saturday night!
Pierce had made her a "card" the morning we left asking if she wanted to go to a Daddy Daughter Dance, and let me tell you, this girl was sooo excited!! This girl LOVES her Daddy!!
And her sweet little cousin Lucy! I had texted Jessy about potentially bringing her birthday shoes, and if Lucy would would think they were fun as well and a day later, we had two pairs on the porch for Lucy to try on 😂
It was the sweetest night to get dressed up with a best friend!!!
And let me tell you, these girls were just simply beside themselves when the Daddys came around the corner with a flower to "pick them up" 🌸
It was possibly the sweetest thing ever to watch...
A true moment to frame!!!
And of course behind every "dance" picture are moms with casual clothes and messy hair, right?! Hahaha
It was the sweetest little night watching these two get to go live it up!
A night I'm sure Jane will always love talking about!! 🥰

Just a little moment to frame this week!! Thanks for following along and as always, here's to enjoying the little things, celebrating the big things, and soaking in all the moments in-between. I will be back next week with more DC pics from the weekend, but I am going to take tomorrow to finish getting our house and selves put back in order a bit...

For those of you who have prayed for us and reached out, Pierce's sweet Grandpa Dick went to be with Jesus this week, and although we are grieving his loss, we are thankful for all of the time we got to spend with him and for his faith and trust in Jesus. The kids have been asking me every time we hear an ambulance if it might be going to help Great Grandpa Dick, and it has led to a lot of really good (and hard) conversations that will continue I am sure. Thank you for all of your love and prayers. We are grateful.

I will plan on being back here next week.
Sending lots of love❤️
