Friday Favorites - Planting Flowers, 11 Months Old, and A New Game

Happy Friday!! And Happy SUMMER too!!! Most schools are officially out around here, so we really feel like it's the start to a whole new season over here!!! Today I just have a few simple joys and little favorites from the week!! I hope you are finding them throughout your week as well!! Here are just a few for your Friday morning!! 

Well, this little girl has been LOVING the May flowers this month. Flowers on her shirt, flowers in her hair, picking out flowers...

And all she wanted to do was hold them to take a picture with the flowers after church on Sunday hahaha April showers bring May flowers truly seems to be this girl's favorite right now! 

A second favorite is celebrating this little cutie turning 11 months this week!!! We cannot even believe he is almost ONE!

How did he get so old so fast and WHY does he look so big here?!!? 😭💙 We love you "Buddy Boy" as Jane would say 🥰

 

I mentioned this last week, but I am loving my new little devotional, my new morning tea routine, and a little birthday tea cup to keep it warm when life keeps moving fast in the morning hahaha 

Another favorite has been this classic old school game that Pierce and I have been loving at night 😂 It's simple, it's fun, we can talk while we play, and it takes me back to childhood a little all at the same time haha 

And lastly is this sweet weekend at the end of May. We love spending Memorial Day weekend in Louisville when we can. The sunshine, the pool, the time with family. Last year, we were just a few weeks away from welcoming little Andy, and I can't believe it's already been a whole year taking that little picture of a family of three. We are sending lots of love and prayer today though especially to those who are grieving loved ones on this Memorial Day weekend. We are so thankful for all who have served our country, and a day to honor many who have lost their lives while doing so. 

I hope you are finding small joys throughout your days as well, and I hope everyone has such a wonderful long weekend! I am going to take next Monday and Tuesday off, but I'll plan to see you back here on Wednesday!!  Thanks Erika and Andrea for a fun blog link-up today!!
