Goodness, it's been a big few weeks in the Riddick home, and this weekend was no exception. We celebrated Pierce's birthday on Friday, Mother's Day on Sunday, and Monday was filled with Jane's Last Day at her Mother's Day Out, Pierce's first day/move-in day to his new office, and my birthday! We are loving all the big celebrations, but looking forward to some simple days ahead as well!! I thought today I would just share a few snapshots from the last few days!
This little one picked out this little pink dress for her last day. Weren't we just sending this little one off in October?!
I wrote a little bit more about her first day here, but we weren't planning on a little Mother's Day Out this year, but the Lord had other plans.
And she's loved her Mondays there so much this year!
And has grown so much too...sheesh! Time needs to slow down!!
While Jane was soaking up her last day, bounce house and all, Andy helped me and Daddy start moving into his new office. It's been fun to start making this space "home" for Pierce. Give me blank walls and an empty space, and it's the best birthday gift!! Hahaha
Speaking of birthdays, we celebrated with an early morning trip to the Bagel Shop for my birthday, which was just too sweet!
Any outing with these three is the best gift!!
And we got the best of both worlds this weekend because my parents watched Jane and Andy for Pierce and I to head to dinner for his birthday (slash mine 😉).And goodness gracious did it feel like a treat! Andy has been loving tagging along with Mommy and Daddy for most things 😉, so it really was a birthday gift for us both to have a little night to sit, catch up and celebrate!
We've had cookies and cake...
Flowers and fruit...
And lots of homemade crafts over the weekend as well.
It's been a weekend for the books...
And we are ready for some simple summer days ahead!!!
This week, I finish up tutoring, we finish setting up Pierce's office, we have our last small group before summer, a ministry year celebration lunch at church, and then we really are on the homestretch to hopefully finding some rhythms and routines again in this crazy season we're in. It's full, but fun and we are thankful to the Lord for all of the life that's lived each day.

Thanks for following along!! I'm going to take today to finish unpacking us from almost two weeks away from home, start settling back in a bit and catching up on life, and I'll plan to be back here on Thursday for Frame This Moment! I hope everyone has the very best Tuesday in May!
Sending lots of love!
