Friday Favorites - Slower Weeks, Our Kitchen Window, and Paint Sticks

Happy LAST Friday of MAY! Oh, what a great month. We love the month of May, but June is just as special now as we get to celebrate sweet little Andy Pierce Riddick next month!! Today I just have a few Friday Favorites for you! Simple little joys and snapshots from around here. I hope you're finding them in your day as well!! Here are a few for your morning!! 

Well my first favorite is I've been loving a little extra time with this guy this week. This is our first week in I can't tell you how long that we've both been in town all week with nothing on the calendar any evening night or weekend day, and we have loved. it. We always say we are pretty much right in the middle of introvert/extrovert, but boy do we just love a slower paced week! 

Second is this little view out the kitchen window now... There just isn't much better in my mind than crisp morning air with the windows open...add little ones playing, and it's definitely pretty special. Also I've mentioned this before, but this little acrylic frame has been such a favorite for having a little Bible verse next to the kitchen window. It's perfect to change in and out and great because the paper doesn't get wet next to where we do all the dishes. A favorite for sure. 

 

Another definite favorite around here right now are these paint sticks. These are truly used multiple times a day every day and are such a hit. 

The colors are so vibrant, there is no mess, and they dry fast. 

And this little creative one uses them truly every day. I am still doing double takes that she has started making drawings that actually resemble things... We are going to run out of wall space soon to hang all of her artwork, but I couldn't love it more!! 

We finally got our begonias planted out front, and I love the little pop of white and red they add to our front. I need to do some before and afters out here soon... It's come a long way since we first moved in, but working outside is always a favorite for us!! 

And lastly is this MOBILE little boy. He has taken a step or two and we are just COUNTING DOWN for him to start walking... Jane's favorite phrase right now is, "Andy is literally standing!" hahaha 

This little cutie is making his way around though...from pushing Jane's baby doll...

And having the time of his life whirling himself down the slide with no fear hahaha I screenshotted a video Pierce had taken for this picture and love Jane's face cheering him on in the background hahaha Andy is always a favorite around here!!! 

And that about does it for these final May Favorites...goodness, it's been a good month, but we are ready for June and all that it holds!!
