Happy Tuesday!! I hope everyone had such a great weekend!! We are really loving this month of May over here, and today I thought it would be fun to share a few pictures from where we started this month. At the end of April, Pierce's parents had planned a trip for all three siblings, spouses, and grandkids to be together for a week in the beautiful Jamaica! It was a sweet week (full of ups and downs as you can imagine with twelve altogether and four little ones three and under 😉), but we have some sweet memories from the week and thought it'd be fun to share a few snapshots on this Tuesday morning!!
Traveling and making memories with this little fam of four will always be one of my very favorite things!!!
Our week started out bright and early on Saturday morning! We left our house around 4:50am. Jane was VERY excited to be back on an airplane!
We had a little layover in Orlando and then were the first of the twelve to land around 1:30pm or so. (A few MVPs of our airplane rides were these magnet men - they were a HIT the whole week. These water games, and this sensory game too. I'll do a post soon on some favorites for travel after 7834 flights with these two at all different ages!)
We finally made it and this little one was OUT on the quick drive over to our place for the week.
So was this one! Haha a day full of travel is a lot for these littles!!
But we eventually made it to our destination and "home" for the week.
And it was beautiful!! Pierce's dad had a connection that made this a better option for all twelve than a resort that they had previously been looking at, and being able to have everyone all in one place was definitely a blessing and highlight from the week!
The girls basically lived in this pool all week and all of the bedrooms were located along the outside hallway, so we spent almost the whole week outside other than sleeping, and it was definitely a treat!
Take. Me. Back. Hahaha
GP and CyCy made it along with Jessy, Logan, Lucy and Cooper and the girls were already in heaven in the yard!
They loved all the quality time with GP throughout the week!!
AND they loved matching any chance they could 🥰
What a treat to be able to parent alongside best friends with all four of these littles! Bath time and bedtime were always a little bit of chaos and a whole lot of fun too!! (Minus the overtired-ness and sleeping in a new place-ness that sometimes takes over when trying to falling asleep for a toddler haha)
I loved getting to be there with this guy too. We loved any and all of our little adventures that week!
Most included the kids and more and we loved it all!
It was just a short little drive down to the beach...
And this little kiddie pool/shallow end was a highlight of the week for sure!!
Soooo much time spent on these two slides!!
Oh the fun of water and sunshine in the summertime!
Love this little fam for sure 🥰
This little one was having the best week as well.
Sign me up for a little baby in a sunhat any day!!
But what he loved MOST was "driving" this little golf cart with Daddy...
I mean, truly just having the time of his life...
I'm already having flash forwards to when he's 16 hahaha
Half way through the week, Aunt Kelsea and Uncle Jose came, and we surprised them with setting up a little "gender reveal party" that they had been wanting to do.
CyCy had told the chef boy or girl and he made a beautiful cake with the color inside...
We all got ready...
The sweet girls had matching dresses thanks to Aunt Jessy!
And we came to party with Team Boy or Girl!
Everyone made their guesses...
They cut the cake...
And a Baby BOY is who we can't wait to meet in August!!!! Andy and Cooper can't wait to have another little buddy running around with them!!!
We are adding a fifth to this little crew and can't wait!!!
The girls truly just had the best time in the pool all week...
Loved getting cleaned up for dinners...
And loved even more just hanging by the pool....I love these two besties and can't wait to continue to watch them grow!!!
Jessy had brought them pink and blue matching pajamas for if it was a girl or a boy, so they got to sport their matching BLUE at night after the gender reveal ☺️
We soaked up the rest of the week...lots of afternoons at the pool.
This little one loved exploring anywhere he could!
But the shallow end was definitely a favorite.
Love this little one so much!
The last night we all made it down to the beach before dinner for a few pictures...
The grandparents and their four almost five!
My favorite little four right here :)
And my two favorite little matching girls too!!!
Jane and her Aunt Kelsea...and we laughed that I look more like the Aunt in this picture!! Hahaha
I love getting to do life with this guy...it seems to just be getting better and better! The hard and the good, they're both just as sweet with the right perspective...
I loved getting to take one too with my favorite girl! I love watching her grow up!!!
And we love cheering on these two boys too!!
This week was definitely one for the memory books, and we are so grateful for all the life that was lived in this little home filled green grass, palm trees and sunshine.
My very first passport stamp was Jamaica when I was 15 for a mission trip, and it has always held the sweetest place in my heart. The people we got to meet, the kids we got to love on, the ones that came to know Jesus through the local church...it was a special week. And being back so many years later experiencing such a different part of the island held many memories as well, but I'll never forget the part of Jamaica that made me fall in love with the island back in 2008. Jamaica, you're a special one! And I love praying for the people that call this island home. We can't wait to hopefully be back again one day!
Thanks for following along in this journey! All of the ordinary days, the small moments, and the routines that make up our weeks, and the big moments, big trips and celebrating the big things as well. It all makes up this sweet life we get to live, and I'm thankful for the many blessings that come along with this journey. Hope it was sweet to see a few snapshots from our week!!!
We have a busy day ahead, so I am going to take tomorrow off, but I'll plan to see you back here on Thursday!! As always, here's to enjoying the little things, celebrating the big things, and soaking in all the moments in-between!
Sending lots of love!
