Friday Favorites - Christmas Village Edition

Hi!! Happy FRIDAY!!! Oh, it's the best Friday Favorites of the year - Christmas Village Edition. 🎄✨ I know we are all semi still in fall and Thanksgiving mode as well, but this weekend is just our very favorite and where the lines get all blurred in our house between all the holidays hahaha it's our "Opening Ceremony" so to speak for Christmas, and we ready to cozy up with some twinkling lights on soon!! If you're in Nashville this weekend, I hope you'll make the special trip to Christmas Village this weekend! But regardless, I hope you are cozied up with something warm and enjoy a little Christmas post this morning whether there's fall or Christmas around you! Sending lots of love on this Friday!!

Oh, Christmas Village. Just a forever favorite. I have been going to Christmas Village since I was in college, and I still love it just as much as I did the first time I went. When I found out there was one here in Nashville, I took Pierce the first year we were married, and we've been going back ever since... He laughs at my explanation of Etsy meets Hallmark, but that's what it feels like to me. There is Christmas music, there are SO many booths with homemade goodies, crafts and gifts, there is a Santa to take pictures with, there are lights and trees and decorations, and I just couldn't love it more. 

From that first year of marriage... 

To last year with two littles in tow... 

He's a good sport about the whole thing... (please note even his Christmas sweatshirt hahaha)

But I dare might even say that he *looks forward* to the weekend these days too... 😉

This will be little Jane's fourth year to go... (How is that even possible?!)

And Andy loved it last year, and with Jane's HYPE about it this year, we are hoping he buys right in to the Christmas chaos that is Christmas Village hahaha It's a fun place to be 😉😂 🎄✨

Just so merry, so homemade, so local, and I love it so very much. 

Almost as much as I love coming home and trying my very best to turn our home into our very own Christmas Village!! I keep trying to push the decorating earlier and earlier every year😂, but this weekend has been the winner the past seven Christmases, so, this is where you will find us this weekend... 

Cozied up in this little space that we all love so very much!! 

Oh, Christmas sheets. Also a forever Christmas favorite... That first year we were married, we were on such a tight budget, but I saved up a little throughout the month and tutored a little extra, and splurged on a pair of Christmas sheets, and they are still just so special. They just signal Christmas, and we are ready for them!! And I think this is finally the year that I have convinced Pierce Jane and Andy need some too!! Stay tuned. Hahaha 

And another forever favorite from this weekend is just all of the Christmas JOY that it kicks off with two littles... 

It's just sweet and FUN. 

And it's gotten more fun each year I think... 

Seeing it all through their eyes is pretty special!! 

And we are going to try hard to keep soaking it all in!!! 

And lastly, just all of the favorite little things that come along with this weekend and this season...from family ornaments...
