Fall Days 🍁🍂

Well, before Christmas is in actual full-swing, I thought I'd share a few snapshots of some fall days the past few weeks. We have been soaking them in. The weather is by far the best part of fall in my mind, and we've been spending as much time as possible outside in the sunshine and warm air and crisp fall mornings. Here are just a few snapshots for your Wednesday morning!! 

I took this to send to Pierce one morning because it was a scene I wanted to remember and one I wanted to remember that I had prayed for. I have really been trying to slow down and see the good in motherhood and in this parenting season. Yes, there are hard days, but there are SO many moments where I have to stop myself and just say a prayer of thankfulness to the Lord, and this was one of those. A little "moment to frame" if you will on this particular fall morning... 

Pierce has been raking leaves with the kids on his lunch break a day or two a week the past few weeks, and it has been a FAVORITE for them and a core memory for Jane I'm sure... 

Watching them run and play in those "piles" has had me reliving my childhood through their excitement as well.

We've had lots of just fun mornings of play...where "Binga Zinga" (ode to Jane's imaginary friend turned baby doll name hahaha) joined in on most of the fun. 

She asked if I could take a picture of her and "Binga Zinga" 😉

Love this girl and love mornings with nothing on the calendar but play clothes and lots of time spent outside...

And I love watching them play and explore...and the fact that Andy can "swing" on his own is still mind boggling to me...haha 

Lots of life lived in this little backyard this fall, and I've loved it so much. We know the season is changing fast, and we hope to see it covered in snow at some point too, but goodness, those fall mornings are hard to beat.
