Christmas This and That

Happy, happy Tuesday!!! I thought today I would just share a little Christmas joy! A little of this and a little of that for your merry December morning!! I hope you are finding sweet little snapshots and joys in your days too!!! Here are a few of ours! 🎄

First is these two... Andy had these little overalls in his closet that we pulled out for church one morning, and Jane remembered that she had a little corduroy dress in her closet that "matched", and well, the rest of the morning was history hahaha 

I was snapping a pic of them when a sweet friend walked by with a basket full of mini candy canes, and Andy was SOLD! Hahaha 

I truly cannot believe that THIS was last year... 

Time needs to sloooooooowww down!!! 

We took this kids to look at some lights a few nights ago and it was for sure a highlight...a blurry picture, but a sweet night!! 

We have a few more places to check off our lists, but Jane is still talking about all the Christmas from that night... 

Another thing Jane is FOR SURE talking about if you see her is our "peppermint drink." I started this last year when we were in search of some "hot chocolate," and now, it's just a little winter tradition over here it seems... It is truly Just Ingredients Vanilla Peppermint (she actually has chocolate peppermint too, as well as actual hot chocolate haha) frothed with a little regular milk or coconut milk (and you can add cinnamon or honey or anything to sweeten if needed), heated up and enjoyed like "hot chocolate." It's become a big hit around here this Christmas season though hahaha And we are counting down and crossing our fingers for some SNOW hopefully this winter too, so we can have a "peppermint drink" after sledding haha 

We're beckoning it to come with some snowmen crafts over here too... I had to take this picture because when I walked by, my Christmas-loving self was just beaming hahaha 🎄🥰 She still had her Christmas pajamas on, settled in on our Christmas blanket, and was working away on her Christmas craft. And I'm almost positive there was Christmas music on in the background hahaha I almost didn't get these little snowmen at Hobby Lobby, but right as I was about to put them back, Andy got a hand on them and the label came right off....So, into my cart they went, and let me tell you, they were a hit. All twelve of them hahaha She had names in mind of who she wanted to give them out to and has been working hard on them 😂☃️

This little buddy has been just smiling and laughing his way through the season as per usual... 

He stole Jane's hat one rest time, somehow figured it out how to get it on his head, and was SO proud of himself hahaha It made both me and Jane smile haha 

Like I said, almost always laughing. Hahaha He is just a joy and delighted to just be in the mix haha 

We've had some trips to Costco... (And I've cut approximately 37 pomegranates this season hahaha If you have any pomegranate tips, send them my way!! I do it them under water to help with the juice?!, but I feel like everyone always has pomegranate tips that they love!!!) 

To balance out our pomegranates....hahaha Pierce and I splurged on some "real" ice cream for the first time since we've had our Ninja Creami, and it was definitely a little treat to go with our favorite Simple Mills brownies! 

This little one is looking SO big to me every time we step out this door.... 

Or are at gymnastics...wasn't she just barely walking around at this place?! 

Andy loved it too though, and I'm pretty sure held onto this yellow ball the entire time we were there... 

Which seems to be a trend for him right now... He has been taking this little ball everywhere with him, just like Jane takes her baby, and it makes us laugh. To bed, in the car, at the table, walking around the house, if you see Andy soon, I'm betting he will be holding a ball in his hands hahaha 

A sweet friend gave us the sweetest little Christmas simmer pot in a mason jar this past weekend, and it just says Christmas to me!! 

Same with this little Christmas beeswax candle from a favorite Etsy shop... They are on break for the holidays now, but I love their beeswax fall and Christmas candles and the "Christmas Tree" has been a favorite scent this year! 

Jane and I were inspired though, and we made one for her teacher too as a little treat for the last day!

And speaking of treats, if you are looking for something Christmasy to watch, this little Gingerbread House competition is just such a fun one!!! What they do with the gingerbread is truly incredible, and we've all loved watching each episode!! 

And lastly, just a little Christmas inspiration for your Tuesday. I love seeing these sweet little scenes on Pinterest, and love even more when their linked to an Etsy shop...

Or better yet, here... My very favorite little December house. I don't know the original source of this, but goodness, it is truly my favorite. It just makes me smile and is the perfect little CHRISTMAS snapshot to me.
