Friday Favorites - Christmas Sweatshirts, New Ornaments, and a Favorite Soup

Happy FRIDAY!! In December!!! Which just feel like the very best. We've had a fun Christmas week over here and are looking forward to soaking in a few more in this sweet month... Today I just have a few simple favorites for your Friday...little snapshots and small joys from our week!! Hope you are finding them in your week as well!! Here are just a few for your Friday morning!!!

Well, my first favorite is my new Christmas sweatshirt... Listen, sweatshirts are my weakness and Pierce literally laughed when I told him I didn't have a great "Christmas" one hahaha but...this one has been favorited for several seasons on Etsy, and I went ahead and splurged for this season, and I've loved it!!
I had originally found this one through a sweet Etsy shop, but when I went to purchase it, their shop was taking a little break for the holidays, so I was so happy to have found another shop who makes the same sweatshirt, and I just love it so much. SO happy and Christmasy!!!

Another Christmas favorite is our ornaments that have come in! My mom started a tradition of getting us an ornament every year when we were little, and it's been fun to do the same with Jane and Andy.
Jane was SO excited about her ornament this year, and I just felt like it couldn't have been more perfect for her this year and in this season!!!

Last week, I mentioned this little Jesse tree being a favorite for us this time of year...
And this podcast has been such a fun addition! It's a "kids podcast" that walks through each story for a few minutes a day. Jane has loved having "her" podcast to go along with mine in the car hahaha

Another just all-time favorite right now is this chicken lime soup. This was one of the very first soup recipes I ever found when I lived in Texas, and now it is truly a staple in our house. It's SO fresh, so delicious, so easy, and is just a favorite for everyone. The only things we've really changed from the recipe is we usually cut our carrots into little pieces instead of shredding them, we add chicken bone broth for the broth, and we've started grabbing diced tomatoes without green chilis for the kids, but the recipe is perfect, and it's always a great cozy meal for a cold night!

And lastly, this little living room. It's another forever favorite this time of year. I'll post a little Riddick Home for the Holidays next week, but goodness, there is just something special about this time of year isn't there?!

And there you have it...just a few little favorites for your Friday! I hope that your weekend ahead is a great one and filled with lots of Christmas fun!! As always, thanks Erika and Andrea for a fun blog link-up! And here's to wishing everyone the merriest December weekend!!! I'll plan to see you back here next week!

Sending lots of love!!
