Christmas in New York CityπŸŽ„✨

Oh, Christmastime in New York City... It's always been a dream of ours, and we had so much soaking it all in this year!! I thought I would just share a few snapshots of here from our time there with some of our best friends and little Jane too πŸ₯°
From Time Square to Macy's to our favorite little Maman cafe...
And the Rockefeller Christmas Tree with our besties... It was all just such a dream!!!
And it was so fun getting to experience it with these friends... Jessy and I worked together at camp and before we knew it were dating brothers, getting engaged within a month of each other, married within three months of each, and had little girls just three months apart...it's been such a gift!! And these days really were just so filled to the brim with so many special and fun memories!
We flew to DC early Saturday morning...
And spent the whole day just hanging and catching up and Lucy and Jane were loving everything about being together...
We were up and at'em early the next morning though braving the rain as we walked to the Metro Station to make it to our train.
These little rain covers were hilarious, but SUCH a life saver that day!!
We made it on the Metro, and these little ones were loving being so close πŸ˜‚
We made it to the Train Station and the girls were loving Aunt Jessy's little matching Christmas outfit she got them for the trip πŸ₯°
I'm telling you...besties hahaha
We loved all the fun of even getting to New York with these friends!
We made it and were off!!
We braved the rain, grabbed some lunch, and after a turn of events ended up at the Marriott right in the middle of Times Square thanks to a last minute discount. We couldn't believe we could see Times Square from our window - too fun! We had adjoining rooms, so the girls' fun just continued all weekend!!
We got cleaned up and were off to Bryant Park for dinner and to see some of the Christmas Markets!!
Ice-skating in the city! ⛸ We loved watching!!
We loved this night, but called it a day when it started raining again toward the end - Jane and Lucy were such champs that day!!!
Pierce and I had to take in the lobby for a minute when we put Jane down though.
It was truly just beautiful!!
We were up and at'em the next day with a little Christmas treat and headed to a little cafe for breakfast.
A good night's sleep did everyone good!! Hahaha
We walked and explored so much that morning.
But my very favorite was seeing the one and only Macy's! I have watched the parade in front of this sweet building for as long as I can remember, and it was so fun seeing it in person.
Just such a treat!!
These brothers and their daughters! So fun watching them be dads!
And the inside was just as beautiful - we could have wandered that store forever, taking in all of their window displays and chocolate cafes. So fun!!
Logan and Jessy took Lucy back to the hotel and Pierce, Jane and I were off on a little adventure on the subways!
Pierce lived in New York City for a semester in college and interned at a recording studio and a record label, so we had to take a trip back to his own stomping grounds!
Almost nine years later, back with a wife and a little girl! Pretty crazy... But so fun to see where he spent all of that time!!
We stopped at my favorite See's Candies...
And spent a few minutes at a park nearby...
Love him and getting to see his old stomping grounds... We were just camp friends throughout college, but I remember Pierce calling me when he was living in New York, and it really felt full circle being back there with him!
And I was just getting all the You've Got Mail feels walking through these streets!!
We got Jane a nap that afternoon and then headed back out that night for a day of fun... Jane trying out the carrier with Dad πŸ˜‚
Still just crazy walking out to Times Square...just so many lights!
We snapped a few fun pics!!
Just love traveling and adventuring with these two!!!
And being with these three was just so much fun too!!
We saw so many iconic stops!
And made our way to the Rockefeller Christmas Tree... Still just hard to believe it's a real tree! It was beautiful!!
So many adventures with these six!
We watched the Saks Fifth Avenue Light Show...so fun!!
Love Christmastime anywhere with this guy, but New York was definitely extra special!!
Then we made our way to Serendipity for a little bucket-list item of having a famous Frozen Hot Chocolate.
You can read a little bit more about it here, but it was such a fun experience to live out a scene from one of our favorite Christmas movies! So special!!
One last little look at Times Square that night...
We grabbed a little ornament at one of the Christmas Markets and just took it all in!
Then later that night, we shut the lobby down with these two after the girls went to sleep... We loved this fun night! (And day!!)
The next morning, we had to eat breakfast at Maman before we headed out... We were gifted their cookbook a few years ago, and not only is it beautiful, but every recipe we have tried is amazing.
And the cafe was just as beautiful and just as delicious!! We still talk about that breakfast...it was just so good. (Along with their lattes and chocolate chip cookies that we grabbed for the road!) If only there was one in Nashville!!
We said our goodbyes and before we knew it were back home in Nashville reminiscing on the sweetest few days with these three in such a fun city at such a fun time of year!!
These two little girls were champs, and I know we'll always look back on this trip with the best memories.

And there's just a little look at our time in New York. We got in lots of miles and even though we skipped a few of the city's landmarks, we really had the best time exploring and experiencing all the magic of Christmas in New York!!! πŸŽ„✨

Thanks for following along!! What a fun trip to end the year with!!
I'll plan on seeing you back here tomorrow!
Lots of blessings,
