Frame This Moment - Saturday Mornings

Happy Thursday!! And Frame This Moment Day!! Is anyone else getting ready for the snow/ice this weekend? Jane has her fingers crossed that we get some white fluffy snow to play in, and we are simultaneously praying that our power stays on and for everyone to stay safe and warm this weekend too!! But today's frame this moment is from last weekend, and is just the simplest little moment on a Saturday morning. 

In our house over here, we LOVE Saturday mornings. They are just our very, very favorite. I could probably do one "day in the life" post on a Saturday and it would be true for almost every Saturday we had free hahaha but we love them and this Saturday morning, we added building a pancake shop while the actual pancakes were cooking, and we had to have Pierce snap a picture when we were done. 

Jane built a little counter where the lego man was serving pancakes, every table had forks and spoons that she had gotten with fruit as their sides. A table for syrup and a door to enter in and out of. It was just all the things I love about open-ended creative play and it went right along with our own Saturday morning and was a sweet few minutes with Janie girl before Andy wanted to add to it/accidentally knock it over haha 

That morning and that moment just made me smile, and I thought to myself that these are the things that I might forget months from now but are some of the moments that make these mornings and this season so sweet and special. So, there you have it. A true and simple little moment in time to frame!!
