Life Lately 7.16.26

Happy Thursday!! Today I have two posts for your Thursday - a little life lately recently and of course a frame this moment too!! When I started my blog, July was always my favorite month to blog. As a teacher, I had the summers off and June felt like the perfect resting month and July the fun month, and blogging always fell into that category. This July has felt busy and fun with lots of family and travel and calendar things, but I always love when I can get back on here. It's a favorite for me, and thanks as always for following along on here as well!! 

So without further-ado, here's a little look at life lately for the Riddicks... 

We surprised the kids with this little slip 'n slide, and it was the perfect way to spend some very hot mornings and afternoons!! 

Is there anything better as a kid than water play?!  

This little one called in a few days ago to see if I could get "a picture of us having a tea party." She had everyone all set up, smoothies included hahha

Pierce and I had two visitors at the end of our workout the other morning, and this little one put on "Mommy's shoes" and was just as worn out apparently... 😉 

GP came in town for a quick visit and took the kids to see his friend "Jeni..." 🍧

And this little girl was quite in heaven hahaha 

We had a summer visit to the carousel! 🎠

And this little kid's trip to the dentist was quite impactful...and our dolls have never had cleaner teeth 😂 

This little one is still talking about being "on stage" at Family Night for VBS... She was walking to the car that night and said, "I love stage...." Hahaha and she still sings these songs almost daily and for any and all who will listen and watch haha (They are very catchy if you need something to add to your summer car playlist haha) 

And this kid loved VBS family night just the same haha 

Jane came down the other day very proud of her "seasonal" hair hahaha 

Andy having a little buddy after church was one of my favorite things ever haha 

As well as finding him drawing on Jane's lapdesk one day in the playroom haha 

Jane came down so excited that she had a pink shirt, white shorts, and sandals to match her baby. :) 

Magnatiles with Daddy after work have been a favorite...

And I'm not sure if I've ever seen a more excited Andy than when he got to ride in "Papa car!!!" He had been counting down the days and when he woke up that morning, he ran to Jane and said, "JANE. Papa. Car. Yeah!!!" Hahahah We still laugh about that... He was loving it!! 

And let me tell you, they were soaking in their time with just Papa and Nana hahaha 

Lots of sandbox and swing time... 

And, as if Nana and Papa's house could get any more FUN...this was the addition for 4th of July weekend, and let tell you, it was a hit. Hahaha 

But a favorite was by far seeing some fireworks over Nana and Papa's garden that some neighbors were setting off... 

Just such a pretty sight!! 

And there's just a little look at some life lately around here recently... Thanks as always for following along!! I also have a Frame This Moment post for today as well! We are soaking up lots of family time this weekend and a few house projects as well that we're trying to tackle, so I'm going to take tomorrow off of blogging, but I'll plan to be back here middle of next week again.
