Jackson 2026

Happy Wednesday, my friends!! Well, it's safe to say that September has just been a whirlwind for these Riddicks, but we are thankful to be back home, settling in, and remembering all of the fun that this month has held (along with some hard too of course - I'm talking to you, new AC unit😉). But today I thought it would be fun to share some pictures and snapshots of our time in Wyoming. We have gotten to visit several times over the last few falls, and this trip was just as special, with amazing weather and some sweet time with family too. Here are a few pics from our time out there!!

These three. My favorite people to travel with!!! 

We were packed up, ready to go, and waiting for the bus - Andy's FAVORITE part of any travel day!! 

Truly, just giddy. 

My sweet travel buddy and her littlest travel buddy!! 

This was Andy's first day with his own seat, and to say he was excited was an understatement haha Pierce and I took turns switching out, but the new set up was sure fun and different. Feels like just yesterday I was holding 3 month old Jane on her first flight! 

In Jackson, you walk straight off the airplane, and the kids always think it's the most fun way to end the travel day!! 

These girls took NO time at all to settle RIGHT in to being besties!! 

We took a little walk before dinner and settled right into that sweet Wyoming weather!!

The next morning we were up and at 'em... 

For a first time for us Jackson Lake experience! 

This kid was sure excited!! 

And they were loving time with CyCy too!! 

I snuck in a little time with these cutie girlies! 

And this little one was in absolute HEAVEN driving the boat with Daddy...

Love this guy and loved watching him cruise us around that day! 

It was a pretty chilly day with even chiller weather, but goodness, there sure were still a lot of smiles!! 

A crowd of 13 sure made it a party that morning! (Little Lucy snuck in there next to Cooper.)

Pierce was one of the only brave souls that did the "polar plunge" in the lake water... 

But Andy wanted to dip his toes in with Daddy! 

We took one more big family picture... 

Then snuck in a little family pic... 

And had the get the grandparents with the grandkids too! 

It was a day for the books, and we were loving the front porch downtime that night after the sweet day on the water... 

This kid was loving that evening weather too!! 

The next morning, we were out the door for the Jackson Hole Farmers Market. 

The sweetest little buddy with the best little brown butter cookie! 

Jane thought so too!!

These cousins were loving the fun morning! 

The moms snuck in a little boy time! 

And all the kids were LOVING the balloon art in the town square. 

We managed a little pic with all 13! The Riddick fam is growing fast! 

And this little buddy was TIRED and semi-obsessed with GP's hat that he had put on him that morning...so much so that he did not want to take it off for nap hahaha 

That night the siblings headed out for a little Jackson Hole dinner... 

And had the best time on the square while GP and CyCy held down the fort and did bedtime with the five littles... 

The next morning, we took it easy, packed lunches, and headed to the park at the bottom of Snow King Mountain. 

The kids played, we ate lunch, then we piled in the gondola for the kids' first little gondola ride up the mountain... 

They loved the views! 

And so did we! 

At the top, we managed to get all of the grandkids for a pic! 

And the siblings hopped in for one while the grandparents took care of some things at home... (No Micah was harmed in the taking of this picture hahaha)

We snapped a little family picture... 

And took a little stroll... 

Before the gondola ride down...sheesh I love this little buddy!!! 

After rest time, we introduced the kids to pickleball before dinner that last night...

 

And the next morning, we were up bright and early for our flight back home, the kids sporting their newest souvenirs that they never wanted to take off haha 

We were thankful for a smooth travel day back home! 

And even more thankful for all the memories made with these littles... 

We're always thankful for our time out west, especially spending it with cousins, siblings, and grandparents. If you want to see other Jackson trips, you can find many of them here. It sure has become a pretty special place to our family!!
