Happy Thursday!! We are back from our sweet Labor Day trip, and today's frame this moment just had to be Baby Andy on his first flight...
Before he was born, we had originally said we probably wouldn't be able to make it out to Jackson, Wyoming with Pierce's family over Labor Day. We knew our little one would only be a few months old (this was before we knew girl or boy!!), and thought traveling with two might be a bit too much at the end of the summer. But a few weeks after he was born and getting to know his sweet personality a little bit, we decided to take the trip, and boy are we glad we did!! This little one is seriously so happy and content, and we were so thankful he did so well!!
Jane was SO excited for "Baby Andy's first time on a airrrplane!" We packed up a few baby essentials, lots of snacks and little activities for Jane and set off as a little family of four!
There were a lot of really fun moments and as always a few really stressful moments, but making memories, seeing family, and soaking in these little years even when it feels daunting seems to always be worth it!!
This little one fell right asleep on Daddy's shoulder on the plane ride home...
And so did this little one ❤️

And even after two nine hour travel days and five days away from home, he was still all smiles when we got back home. Thankful for him and Jane and for all the fun, hard, and good that traveling with littles brings!!

Deletethose last two pictures look SO much like Jane!! Yay for his first flights going smoothly!! On our first flight, G was great and then the flight home he cried almost half of the flight because his first tooth was popping through!!! Man, I was not ready for that kind of anxiety!!! We are off on our next adventure tomorrow morning, Toronto onto Ontario to go to Niagara Falls for the week and I'm praying for smoother flights than the last month lol!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I can just totally relate!! The plane anxiety is one of a kind 😂 Pierce always says to stay calm, but it's easier said than done 😉😂 SO fun that you all headed to Niagara Falls!! I can't wait to hear about it!! Hope those flights were sooo smooth!!!
DeleteMy favorite advice: just stay calm, the baby can sense your anxious. YEAH OK!!!! So easy with a crying baby and everyone staring at you lmao!!!!!
