100 Miles Before and After Baby

Well, I couldn't get too far into the year without a little post reflecting on all of the miles that 2024 held... Our second little one was due in June last year, so I made a goal at the beginning of the year to walk 100 miles before the baby came and 100 miles after, and it was such a fun one to complete and maybe even sweeter to look back on all those sweet walks that took place throughout the year! Here are just a few thoughts for your Tuesday! 

2024 in Review

Well, it's official, I think this post might be my favorite post I do every year... I always forget about these posts, and then when it's time to write the next one, all the tears and the "Oh my goodness! Look at this!" "How was this already two years ago?!" quotes come from looking at past years... Time is just flying by, and I'm so thankful I have taken the time to write these ever year... So, even though we are already in February, here are just a few snapshots and highlights from each month... Snowy New Years in Jackson ❄️

Happy, happy Tuesday!!! Well, as the sun is shining and it's starting to warm up just a little here in Nashville, I thought it would be sweet to share a few of our snowy Jackson pics from New Years!!! ❄️ Pierce's parents spend a good bit of their year in Jackson, Wyoming, and we love making it out there when we can! You can read lots of Jackson posts here, but this was only our second time there in the winter and first time bringing two littles to a snowy state, so we learned a lot, but enjoyed our trip so much too!! Happy Wednesday, my friends!!! This morning I thought I would just share a few pictures of our favorite place to be during the holidays! Out of all the fun things we love during the month of December, I would say that we all love being cozy at home maybe the most. I try to keep things simple, clean and peaceful, especially around the holidays, so that it's a blessing for us to be home and open up our home.  Things pretty much stay the same from year to year, but this year, it's far from "perfect" or "finished" with two littles around, but I wouldn't change this season for anything. Happy Wednesday!!! I hope everyone had the very best Thanksgiving!! We loved our week in Louisville. It was only the second time in seven married Thanksgivings that we didn't travel to Texas, so it was a bit of a slower pace for us, but we loved it!! The Riddick Home in the Fall

Happy Tuesday!!! Well, we had the very best weekend. Filled to the brim with family and friends and a house full of coziness - we loved our day at Christmas Village, and I had to wait one extra day to put up Christmas because it only felt right for a little fall to still be up for our small group's Friendsgiving. But Sunday afternoon, we went from fall to Christmas in a few hours, and I couldn't love it more. Before I officially shift into Christmas mode over here, I thought it would be fun to share one last post with a few snapshots from our house this fall. Honestly, we kept it pretty simple this year, but it was cozy and fun still and exactly what we needed in this busy season.
