Happy FRIDAY! It's been a sweet week over here in the Riddick home, and I just have a few Friday Favorites to share!! Small and simple joys throughout our week and month! I hope yours is filled with the same, and I hope this weekend is the very best long and restful weekend for you and your family too!! Hopefully you're staying warm and cozy wherever you are and here are just a few snapshots and favorites for your Friday!!
Well, we got to see and experience lots of snow in Wyoming this past New Years, but there's something so sweet and special about it snowing at your own house. Jane loved when we had snow last year, and we were all excited to play lots more when we woke up to some snow in Nashville last Friday!
We were still in Christmas with our pajamas with wreaths on our window, so it was still a little extra sweet waking up to snow in Nashville!!
Jane loved her new little friend that she had in our front yard...
So much so she kisssed him unprompted when I went to take a picture haha!!
We are back to our cozy January living room with Christmas all put away, and there's always something a little refreshing about a clean and refreshing start to the year... but it's a little extra special, wintery and cozy when there's a snowy backdrop out the windows too!!
These January mornings cozied up in the living room, I have been loving walking through a sweet little Gloria Furman devotional that Pierce got me for Christmas. Just a few chapters in, and I'm loving her encouragement to keep your mind on the Gospel even through the busy days of motherhood...a sweet encouragement especially in this season!
Also happening in our living room is this scene daily...Jane has been l-o-v-i-n-g cutting recently, specifically into tiny pieces of confetti...which, as a teacher, I absolutely love, and as a mom of a now crawler, I have to smile at the ridiculousness of timing of us all picking up 7,000 pieces of paper daily before Andy finds his way to any of them hahaha I love it all the same though!!
And lastly, we may have had Christmas put away on the inside, but our lights and wreaths were still on when it snowed, so I had to sneak out and snap a pic of our home still looking so Christmasy and wintery. We've never been here when it has snowed at Christmas, so it made it feel a little extra special and a small little favorite of the week for sure! Love all the life lived inside these walls, in all the seasons, but there's something special about the winter one for sure!!
And there you have it...just a few simple little joys and snapshots! Thanks for following along!! And thanks Erika and Andrea for the fun blog link-up too!! I hope everyone has the very best long weekend, and I will plan on being back here next Thursday for Frame This Moment and then all the week after!!
Sending lots of love this Friday!

ok this may sound crazy, but as we are in the similar baby phase - you NEED a little handheld vacuum cordless that is rechargeable. I think ours was like $30 from amazon. we keep it in the kitchen and it's PERFECT to grab for those little pieces of paper that the bigger littles cut (!!!!) or little crumbs the baby will *immediately* be drawn to!! Life saving.
