What's Up Wednesday [January 2025]

Happy Wednesday!!! Today I thought it would be fun to jump on the What's Up Wednesday blog link-up and just share a little bit about our January! It has been a sweet, slow, and I use the word restful lightly considering our two littles, but it's been a month we are grateful for!! Here are just a few snapshots from this month over here...

What We've Been Eating:
Well, we've been doing our "normal" January cleanse, where we say no to grains and sugars and add in lots and lots of fruits and vegetables, and it's always the very best for so many reasons. But most of our meals have been spent with these two littles just soaking it all in...
I think Andy has loved every single thing we've ever let him try...and there is nothing on his tray here because he pretty much eats every last drop/piece/bite of anything and everything hahaha

What We're Reminiscing About:
Little Jane two years ago...goodness.
And her tiny little steps...cue all the tears! And Andy catching up to her soo fast!! I'm ready for time to just slow down justttt a little!! Hahaha

What We're Loving:
I love watching this guy be a dad...he got to take Jane to school the other morning, and she just LOVED getting to have her backpack "just like Daddy's!!!!" Not to mention riding in his truck...it was a true "take your daughter to work day moment," and she was loving every second.
And Andy has been loving rides on the shoulders anywhere we go...he just smiles the whole time basically at whoever we walk past and wherever we are going haha

What We've Been Up To:
Well, a lot of the month has looked like this...
And I was trying hard to slow down enough not to miss any of these little moments...
These little days...these little moments...slowing down has been good for us all!!!

What We're Dreading:

Bring on the sunshine, and I don't think there is much over here for us to dread!!

What We're Working On:
Well, Jane has been working on making confetti for whoever needs jars full of teeny tiny pieces of paper hahaha
And I've been working to make this space still just as cozy without our twinkling Christmas lights up...
And finally added little Andy to our wall, which I had no idea every single visitor would notice and comment on!!! Hahaha it seems everyone has been waiting for this little smiley one to be on our wall.
We also finally have his little name on our stockings too!! We're so glad you're part of our family, Andy!!!

What We're Excited About:
We are trying hard to get the eight of us together again soon, and I can't wait!!! ❤️

What We've Been Watching/Reading:
This sweet little devotional has been the perfect addition to these cold January mornings...

What We've Been Listening To:

Well, Andy finally said "Dada" this past week, and we have been eating. it. up. ....and trying hard to get him to say, "Mama" 🥰 (and "Jane Jane" hahaha)

What We've Been Wearing:
We've pretty much been bundled up in sherpa, thermals, hats and booties/slippers all month long over here!

What We're Doing This Weekend:
Well we will be cozied up at home and having our sweet small group over, but celebrating our favorite Aunt Audrey from afar and wishing her the very best birthday!!!

What We're Looking Forward To Next Month:
Need I say more?! Hahaha I loved this month so much in school, but have loved it all the more at home since too!!
Bring on all the pinks and red - we are ready for you, February!!!
These hearts may move to Jane's "big girl" room, but we'll find a way to celebrate in the nursery too with little Andy! Hahaha

What We're Thankful For:
Just forever grateful for these two littles and for all that the Lord is teaching through them and through this cozy winter...

Just a few little snapshots from our January for your Wednesday!! Hope your 2025 has been off to a great start with lots of blessings too!! And thanks Shay and Sheaffer for the fun blog link-up!! I'll plan on seeing you back here tomorrow!!

Sending lots of love!!
