Friday Favorites - Snow, Backpack Carriers, and Little Helpers

Happy Friday and LAST day of February!!! I know the first favorite today is our snow from last week, but let me tell you, our real favorite has been these SPRING days that we've been having this week. 70º weather is just hard. to. beat. It's our very favorite, and we've done everything from picnics, to walking to chalk and stickers, working out, playing with neighbors and eating lunch OUTSIDE this week because we just haven't been able to get enough. So, here's to hopefully the last time snow will be a favorite for a few months and the days of lots of spring in the air starting! Here are just a few little favorites for your Friday!

We ended last week with snow on the ground and freezing temperatures, so we waited for a little sun and made our way out to play! The kids have gotten their fair share of "snow" this year, and it's definitely been a highlight!!

Another favorite and highlight has been this sweet "backpack" carrier that Pierce's mom gifted me for Christmas. I have the front carrier and have truly LOVED it for Andy, and now this little back carrier is a new favorite as well. I love that he's up high enough to see, and he loves it too because he just feels a part of the action! 

Even Jane was loving it during breakfast the other morning! (And I was getting a little workout in at the same time hahaha) 

Speaking of Jane...she's getting to an age that she's actually such a little helper around the house, and I have just been loving it. We started telling her that we were doing things (like laundry, cooking, dishes, etc) "for the family," and now anytime she is helping she will say, "I am vacuuming for the family!!!" Hahaha she helped me clean up her play dough the other day which was a win win for me!! 

Here she is bringing Daddy's boots down "for the family." Hahaha

Speaking of cleaning and helping, this "Force of Nature" spray is something I finally invested in ("for the family 😂"), and I have loved it! It's a natural cleaner and disenfectant, and I have really loved having it during this time of sickness too. From door knobs to bathrooms to counters and toys, it has been a great little investment for us over here., and I've been thankful to have it around!

And lastly, a new month. I just will always love the start of a new month. It feels just like a little breath of fresh air - a fresh start, a clean slate, a refreshing beginning so to speak. And this March, we are looking forward to more spring days, lots of time outside, continuing to work on our new rhythms and routines as a family of four, and lots of busy weekends on our calendar as well.
