Friday Favorites - Roses, Valentine's Dates, and Quiet Mornings

Happy, happy Friday!!! We are looking forward to this weekend and can't believe we are closing in on the end of February...it has felt like it has flown by. The other thing that has felt like it has flown by has been the Olympics!! We are going to be sad that the Closing Ceremony is on Sunday...We have just loved, loved, loved watching it this year. The kids have loved it, we've loved it, we've stayed up way too late and have been way too invested at times, but what a fun few weeks it's been! Today I just have a few simple joys for your Friday! Friday Favorites - Valentine's Bows, Crafts, and Winter Olympics

Happy FRIDAY!! My, are we always glad to see the weekend, but this one feels a little sweeter. It's been a busy and full week over here for us, but we have been thankful for a "normal" week so to speak. Jane and I have been loving all things pink and red and Andy even made a little craft this week that he is SO proud of. We're looking forward to the weekend with some family time, some times with friends, and a little football to end the season too. Thought I'd share just a few simple joys from our week - I hope you are finding them throughout yours as well!!

Oh, Happy February, friends!!! We have made it to the end of January, and as much as I love that sweet wintery month, last week was a crazy way to end it... So needless-to-say, we are ready to welcome in this next pink and red month!! February is just sweet and fun and light and full of all the things we love, and we are ready for a little of all of that in our house these days!

Happy Friday and LAST day of February!!! I know the first favorite today is our snow from last week, but let me tell you, our real favorite has been these SPRING days that we've been having this week. 70º weather is just hard. to. beat. It's our very favorite, and we've done everything from picnics, to walking to chalk and stickers, working out, playing with neighbors and eating lunch OUTSIDE this week because we just haven't been able to get enough. So, here's to hopefully the last time snow will be a favorite for a few months and the days of lots of spring in the air starting! Here are just a few little favorites for your Friday!

Valentine's Weekend with Cousins

Happy Monday, friends!!! Today I thought I would share some of the sweet snapshots from our weekend with Pierce's brother, sister-in-law, and they're two littles... Logan, Pierce's brother, started dating Jessy, one of my sweet friends from camp, the same summer Pierce and I started dating... We got engaged a month a part, married three and five months later, and then had Jane and Lucy the same summer and Andy and Cooper two summers later. They are still some of our very best friends, so we were thrilled when they said they wanted to take their long weekend to drive to Nashville to see us!!

Oh, happy Thursday! This past weekend we had Pierce's brother and sister-in-law and their two littles stay with us for Valentine's weekend, and it sure was a sweet one!!! I'll post more about it next week, but we've just been taking the week to reset, play a lot, and enjoy the fun surprise snow that came this week!
