Happy, happy Wednesday!! I thought today I'd share a little Three Things - Fall Edition. Just three random things about all four of us going on this fall. :) Hope you find yourself cozied up this morning sipping on something warm with blue skies and that fall breeze coming in your window!! I know that's where I want to be every fall morning haha Here are a few things for your Wednesday!!
Starting with Little Jane...
1. She is still loving on this little baby doll like her very own baby, and it’s always the sweetest to see. This little baby has been with us many places over the past 2 1/2 years, and it's pretty much the only gifts she ever asks for - baby doll clothes and accessories... Sounds like another little girl named Tabitha growing up hahaha
2. She loves preschool and LOVES her friends. She is just so social and is always asking about her friends, to hang out with friends, playing with neighbor friends...you name something about friends, and she wants all in haha
3. Jane is a communicator through and through... She loves chatting, loves talking, loves figuring out what Andy is trying to say and communicate that, she understands way more than we ever thought a 3 1/2 year old could, and she's starting to get a little sense of humor, which we love so much.
For Little Andy...
1. This little one has almost all of his teeth in, and we can't still couldn't love his little smile more. I always mourn the gummy smile leaving, but a baby teeth smile is also just the best.
2. He is slowly starting to warm up to a few people other than the three of us, and we love watching his little social sphere grow. We have the sweetest neighbors across the street who feel like a third set of grandparents at times, and he will literally start running when he sees her getting home in the afternoons, which of course makes everyone smile. He holds his cards close, but when he lets someone in, it's a celebration for all hahaha
3. This kid is l-o-v-i-n-g the basketball life. If there is a ball, he will do everything in his power to get to that ball and put it in some sort of basket or hoop or goal haha my parents sent him a little basketball goal and between that in our playroom and our neighbor's little and big goals, he is always on to go wanting to play.
For Pierce...
1. Yesterday marked SIX months of his new job in launching a Nashville office, and we could not be MORE proud of him if we tried. He has been working so hard and doing such an amazing job, and the three of us are just cheering. him. on. as much as we can!!
2. I'm not sure when or how it started, but one day he decided that he really wanted to try to learn how to french braid Jane's hair, and ever since then, it has been a sweet little bonding for them some mornings before he goes to work, and I dare say he's actually gotten pretty good at it haha Jane loves it and it's become a favorite for everyone the past few weeks!
3. Pierce will come home for lunch a lot of days during the week and the kids just love it (I do too!), but a favorite for them is meeting him on our walk and "driving home with Daddy." I know it will be a core memory for them, as well as waving to him from our front window. I still remember doing that as my dad would leave for his trips as a pilot, so it's sweet to watch them create some of those same sweet memories with him!
And Tab...
1. Well, every so often I'm still strapping kids on me so that I can get things done around the house. Hahaha for a teething little one the past few weeks, it has felt like the best compromise and it takes me back to those little baby days as well!!
2. I've been loving this fall weather. I am counting down till Jackson's Orchard, Pierce and I are hoping to get a little fall fresh air on our anniversary this year, and I've been loving walks and play outside more and more each day. Not to mention, Christmas Village is around the corner, which Jane and I are just counting down to the "kick-off" to Christmas. :)
3. Speaking of walking, last year I had a goal to walk 100 miles before and after baby, but this year at the start of the year, I kept it simple with goals and didn't make a big walking goal. But as we get closer to the end of the year, I checked in on our Runkeeper app and we're at 140 for the year, so of course now I'm hoping to get back to 200 and so our morning walks have been a little sweeter as we hopefully inch our way a little closer to that 200, most of which include Jane biking, which, if you have littles know what that means for getting some miles in hahaha
And that about does it for just a little random assortment of things for this fall!! It's a busy season, but a fun one!! Thanks as always for following along!
I'll plan to see you back here tomorrow!
Sending lots of love!
