Life Lately 10.22.25

Happy Wednesday!! Goodness, we've had little ones with fevers over the past few days, so we have just been loving on them and praying for a quick recovery at the same time. But today I thought I'd just share a few pictures and snapshots of life lately around here... It's been full and busy and sweet mixed with a little of everything in-between! 

We've been trying to spend as much time as possible outside on these beautiful fall days. The kids love going through my random teaching things in a few drawers in our garage, so we always have an assortment of post-its, colored pencils, and just about anything else you can imagine brought out to play haha 

A sweet friend gifted Jane these fuzzy pipe cleaners, and they are still a hit to this day. Twisting them, braiding them, bending them, you name it, it's been tried with these things haha I thought it was such a sweet and fun birthday gift for a creative little one!! 

A sweet friend in Texas told me about these play-dough kits so long ago, and we finally invested in one for Jane's birthday, and she has played with that thing soooo many times, so when I saw there was a sale for a fall one, I had to snag one. This weekend with little bodies that needed to rest a bit more, it was the perfect thing to bring out! 

My teacher (and mama!) heart just loves seeing open-ended play, so I am always so excited seeing all these little creations!! (And I know Nana is too, considering it feels like quilting might be up her alley haahah) 

This little kid cannot be old enough for this type of thing, but beggggs us to put him on Jane's bike and has the best time strolling around our cul-de-sac hahaha 

Neighborhood walks are just a forever favorite for us over here... Yesterday marked the third time this week that we've had an impromptu walk with a neighbor or friend who just happens to be walking out same loop, and it always make it special and fun! 

This site was making me smile the other day....

Wasn't this just yesterday?! 

We were headed out on a walk one day, and this little package was waiting for us on the porch! 

We had sent my dad a picture of Andy loving basketball these days, and now this little fun addition is a fave for sure!! 

A favorite for Jane are these little pink cherry pajamas for her baby doll that I found at a consignment sale. 

I had a feeling they would fit her doll just right, and she was so excited and even more excited that they matched her pajamas as well hahaha so sweet!! 

Well, speaking of Jane and her room...remember this sweet little house? ...and this blog post about life with toddlers?... 

...I give you this. Hahaha Andy loves pulling on those little walls of the house, and one night, we let them play ("play" hahhaha) for a minute while we were finishing up the kitchen downstairs and came up to this hahahaha so...there you have it. More proof of life with toddlers haha thankfully, it went back together no problem, but goodness. There's always something isn't there haha

So is this sweet little girl after church! 

And this little boy is who still smiling even with a little fever sweet boy... 

We had a sweet little friend of Jane's turn three and she loves Goji berries, so we took this picture to send to her that morning! We don't have these around very often, but we sure love them when we do!! 

And really, this pretty much sums up life lately in a nutshell around here...just soaking in these days and mornings with these two! And thanking the Lord for all the little blessings in the meantime!!
