Born Two Ball !! ⚽️🏀🏈⚾️

Happy Wednesday!! Last weekend, we celebrated little Andy up at my parents house, and it sure turned out to be the perfect little two year old boy celebration! 

It's my favorite part of every April and June to figure out a fun, simple, and fitting little "theme" and make it come to life as we celebrate another year of the Lord's blessings lived out in their lives...

And this year, "Born Two Ball" felt like it couldn't be more fitting. 

We put some balls up outside of their room at Papa and Nana's house, and it sure was a HIT that morning...please also note his soccer pajamas hahaha  

We decorated for breakfast because we just HAD to try to make the morning special, even and especially with Pierce's grandfather's funeral that same morning... 

Having breakfast with Nana sure made it special as well!! 

After we were back home, we finished up making the cake and set up a little ball birthday on my parents' patio. 

He's just a fun one to celebrate, and it was fun putting something simple together for him! 

Of course, always have to have these sweet pics...

And then grabbed a little family pic too!! I'm telling you, Andy is just EASY to celebrate, and it was such a treat! 

We had burgers and watermelon and fries and such a fun dinner with family... 

And then this little one BLEW his candle out so well and so quickly hahaha

So, so excited for cake!! 

He opened up a gift or two from family... 

And then after dinner, we played and swam in the pool and this kid was in heaven with Papa's new basketball goal for the side! 🏀 

And I guess turning two made him a little braver because he wanted to "swim" "Andy" all night hahaha 

The rest of the night, we stayed up way too late... Had a last birthday gift in our pajamas from Papa and Nana... 

That was a BIG hit!! 

AND the best ball ⛳️ gift from my best friend, Elizabeth, who said she had something "small" for him hahaha 

A hit for sure!!! 

We played ball, laughed, enjoyed the summer night and really just tried to SOAK IN this little buddy turning two. It was out of the ordinary, but maybe that's what made it so special.

Andy, we sure LOVE you and LOVED celebrating you turning TWO!!! 

It's a day we won't soon forget!! 

Thanks for following along and for all the birthday wishes for Andy too! These two years sure have taught us a lot, but they're two we wouldn't trade for the world! Happy Born Two Ball Birthday, Andy! We love you!!
