Frame This Moment - Scooter "Date" 🛴

Happy Thursday and Frame This Moment Day!! Aww today’s moment is a simple little snapshot that for some reason, I just loved.  

 

This weekend, when we were in Louisville, we all decided to walk to lunch downtown after the Science Center instead of driving. Pierce and I needed to go back and add some time to the parking, so Jane and Andy started walking the four blocks with GP and CyCy, and Pierce and I told them we would catch up. 

Well, as we were walking to our car, we saw two scooters, and because Pierce is Pierce and ALWAYS looking for something that adds a little FUN (where as I tend to be a little more cautious that that “fun” is going to add more stress/worries hahaha), we decided to hop on some scooters and ride to lunch. We navigated the one way streets downtown and pulled up to lunch right before the rest of the family, and truly, it was just the little “date” that we needed. We laughed, we felt like we were exploring a new city, and living our best dating lives again. It was maybe less than 10 minutes, but I think it will always make me smile. I’m thankful for Pierce and his eye for fun, even when I can immediately think of ten things that could go wrong hahaha 

It was simple, it was fun, and it was just the perfect little “scooter date.” And there you have it…just a little Frame This Moment for your Thursday!
