A Night Away in Nashville

This past spring, Pierce's company gifted him a steak dinner and night stay at The Thompson Hotel for working so hard on a project he had been in charge of. We were so thankful and excited to put it on the calendar, and June 23rd was the night that worked best!

2022 in Review

Happy Tuesday that feels like a Monday!! We had a great weekend over here! I hope you guys did too!  Even a few weeks into January, I still had to post my 2022 in Review... 

This may be one of my very favorite posts because I have a feeling I might look back on these years from now and love seeing what life and this season looked like for us... 2022 was a big year for The Riddicks. We bought a new car, purchased our home, I finished my fifth year of teaching on maternity leave, we welcomed JANE and grew from a family of two to three, we traveled, saw family, completed some home renovations, and really just tried to soak up as much of baby Jane as we possibly could.

Tidbits About the Riddicks - Our Dating Years

Happy Tuesday!!!! And Happy November!! Aww it feels so good to be back!! I missed being on here the past week - thanks for all of your messages and sweet comments... Taking the past week off reminded me how much I love this little space and all the processing and life that comes from writing these posts. Thanks for being here each morning with me!!!

We got back from our beach trip late Sunday night and spent yesterday settling back into Nashville life... It was such a great week with family - we laughed, laid in the sun, and spent most of the time watching Jane take in every aspect of beach life...she loved it and so did we!! 

While we were there, we celebrated our fourth anniversary, which was so fun and special, and I thought this week would be fun to do a four-part Tidbits About the Riddicks all about dating, engagement, wedding, and married life so far... I've had so many questions about all of those and thought this would be a fun week to walk down memory lane for a bit...
