Friday Favorites - Father's Day, VBS, and Swimming

Happy, Happy FRIDAY!!! We have had one busy week over here at the Riddick household... We got back Sunday night and hit the ground running, and it's safe to say that we are very ready and excited for this summer weekend ahead. We have lots of home time on our calendar and our goal is to actually finally move our "Summer of Letter Fun" from my phone to our refrigerator☀️! Today I just thought I'd share a few snapshots and simple joys from our week! I hope you are finding them in your day as well. Here are a few of ours this Friday morning. :) 

Well, I *think* when Pierce married me, he surely assumed he would be also marrying my elementary education brain, but I don't know if he ever assumed he would be inundated with handprint crafts for his office, but listen, I *think* he has also come to love it hahaha I just can't resist sometimes, and this Father's Day, we really just had a blast putting these together. We thought it was the perfect Fifa Father's Day craft⚽️, a perfect one for Andy and his ball obsession currently🏀, and Jane loved making one pretty much completely "on her own." 🎨

We'll take any excuse to celebrate our favorite!!! 

We also had to put two together for the grandpas (and because Mother's Day slipped by without any paint, we made a late one for Nana and CyCy too! Hahhaa). Safe to say, our dining room table hasn't been clean for several days now....hahaha but a favorite it sure has been!! 

Well my goodness, a FAVORITE for Jane has been her very first VBS this week with her sweetest little friend!! I think Jane has had the time of her life this week and said her favorite part of each day has been the "crafts," which, if you know Jane is not surprising in the least hahaha 

What a sweet and special week of the summer, and I love that she learned a little bit more about Jesus this week too. ❤️

Well, these kiddos in the pool will forever be a favorite. 

We are always so thankful for weekends in the summer at Nana and Papa's house! 

And I love having a front row seat to watching them conquer fears and hit big milestones...and this girl still just comes alive in that water!! I mentioned this last summer, but someone gifted me this waterproof phone pouch, and I just absolutely love it. Getting to take little videos is just SO much fun. 

Well, this is certainly a favorite right now this summer. We love Just Ingredients Electrolytes - we like them for the kids' popsicles or just for a fun refreshing drink to have on a walk, but this summer, I started adding coconut water, and just couldn't love it more. I saw this pink checked cup at Whole Foods, and it immediately became our summer "pink drink" cup. A favorite for sure. 

And lastly, a favorite this week was sure celebrating sweet little Andy turning TWO. I wrote a little bit more about it here, but it sure did feel like a sweet family night at Papa and Nana's, and one that might always be a favorite!
