This is Two and a Half...

Our Little Jane... Two and a half... I thought it would be sweet to post a little bit about sweet Jane Arbel these days... 

 

This girl. She is one and a kind and just our very favorite. 

If you know me and Pierce, you know that we are both pretty go-with-the-flow middle children, being direct is not our forte, and I would say we are probably both internal processors... And the Lord gave us a little one who is very much an external processor, is teaching us so much about the pros (and cons😉) of being able to be direct, and her passion for life (and all things😂) is off the charts. 

This girl is always on the move and always busy doing something, but almost always caring and loving on someone in the same breath... 

She is a true helper in every sense of the word and loves to be doing exactly what we are doing... (Do we think she has seen this scene anywhere before? Hahaha)

In many ways, that feels like a big responsibility and on the other, such a gift to be able to steward...

She prays big prayers that most would see as small, but that make childlike faith so visible and tangible to us... 

She loves feeling "grown up" and stays busy "going to work..." just like Daddy. 

And "reading" the Bible with us in the morning... 

She loves to swing... 

And has always been our little adventurer... 

But she's still so cozy, and when you can find her still for a few minutes, it's the biggest treat!! 

She is SO creative and LOVES to paint... She loves her friends and she currently has a little imaginary friend named "BingaZinga" who she takes care of, feeds snacks to, saves room for when she's sitting down, and references "her" more times throughout the day than I can count. We have no idea where "BingaZinga" came from, but it always makes us smile. 

This little one is just happy and free and loves her baby, her baby brother, her family and friends so well.

She really does just exude passion and love and gives out more hugs than anyone I know... 

 

And our prayer for her is that she becomes a gracious and prayerful girl who seeks first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. We love you so much, Jane Arbel! Two and a half is full and fun and busy and quickly becoming our very favorite for many reasons and the most tiring for a handful of others😂, but we wouldn't change it for the world. We love this little one, and we love this season!!

Happy 2 1/2 years (a few weeks late), Jane!! We LOVE YOU!!!!
