Friday Favorites - Thanksgiving Edition

Happy FRIDAY!! Well, I love a good themed Friday Favorites post, and since we are headed into one of my favorite weeks, I thought it only felt right for a little Thanksgiving Edition of Friday Favorites!! We almost always head to Texas this time of year, but this year, we are spending the week in Louisville and couldn't be more excited for lots of time outside, lots of time with family, lots of games and amazing food and hopefully a little rest thrown in there too. We love all of the traditions that come along with this sweet holiday, and here are just a few for your Friday!! 

Thanksgiving with Pierce is always a favorite!! 

Adding Jane to this sweet holiday has been the best the past two years... 

And now this little one too! We're excited for him to experience it all this year!! 

Not sure if there's more a favorite around Thanksgiving time than my mom's amazing meal. Every dish is truly just incredible, and we all look forward to it every year! 

One Thanksgiving a few years ago, I sat in the kitchen while she made all of the dishes and took notes on exactly what she was doing for each one...  

And for Christmas that year, I turned those recipes on paper into a little book for us to always have... 

It was and is still a very favorite!! Her recipes are truly the very best part of this sweet week. 

And, of course, my dad's pumpkin pie made the list too 😉 A favorite of all of ours for sure!! 

We will miss our sweet time at the Ranch this year with Jane's cousins... 

It's a favorite to see little Lucy for sure!! 

But we feel so blessed to have gotten to see so many of them this past spring, and can't wait to see them again soon!! 

And third-grade Tabitha is pretty much the same as mom of two littles Tabitha...still just as thankful for my family and my faith and now my baby dolls have been replaced with Jane and Andy, who seem to keep me on my toes a tad more than my babies back then hahaha

And lastly, I just really love that we get to take a few days to just slow down a bit...enjoy time with family, play games, sit around the fire, watch football, and enjoy Jane (and Andy!) just loving all the adventures too. 

And this song is always on repeat this week too... 🥰 Throw in the Macy's Day Parade, and you have Thanksgiving all wrapped up into one.
