Aww happy Wednesday in November!! I thought it would be fun to jump into this month's link-ups and share a few gift ideas throughout the years that I've gotten for Pierce, my dad, my father-in-law or brother/brother-in-law just incase you are looking for an idea or two! And as always, I can't wait to see everyone else's too!!
Well, I really simply love gift shopping. I love trying to find unique and creative little gifts that people will love. And today's list is a random assortment of some of my favorites throughout the years. These are from here, there, and everywhere - some homemade, some from Amazon, some from Christmas Village and others just little ones I've found along the way. Some of my favorite places to shop for unique and fun gifts are Uncommon Goods, we have found so many great ones, Etsy, as always for everything, and Zazzle for unique and customizable gifts. Ok, here are just a few for your Wednesday!!
The first one is forever a favorite around here. I would say, out of all the things I've ever given Pierce, this one he uses this one most often. I remember him mentioning that it'd be nice if he had something to put his Bible in so that the pages/cover lasted a little longer, and when I was on Etsy one day, I came across this sweet shop that does so many leather covers.
And it has a little pen holder on the inside too...a favorite for sure!!!
I splurged and bought Pierce a Kindle one of our first Christmases together, and it is still used daily. A favorite for sure!!
This next one is one we found at Christmas Village one year... It was too fun not to buy. We met the guy who makes all of these at The Stadium Shoppe and were so impressed by him! This is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Stadium, and it came with a stand and a little light that comes on in the stadium. It's such a fun and unique piece!!
You can find all of his NFL 3D Stadium replicas here, but on his site, he has all the ballparks and college stadiums and so much more too! We loved supporting his business and my dad loves having this in his office!
This was another Christmas Village find. Pierce's parents are big Cowboys fans, and this was simple and homemade and a perfect gift for them one year. I found a few similar options on Etsy here.
This Sand Art Frame is a fun and unique gift too, especially to put on a desk at the office or at work... My dad had one that he had gotten years ago, and I thought it would be a fun surprise to update it. I found KB Sand Art and loved what he made...he has every shape, size, and color you could imagine, but basically with water and sand and air, you turn these frames over and every time it creates a new landscape... I ended up buying one for Pierce too, and it's been a fun gift for sure!!
Well, this one is simple, but I love to try to find a little ornament to represent a big life event or celebration - I think it's such a fun way to celebrate and remember every Christmas. So, of course, I had to try to find one the year my dad retired from being a UPS pilot for 30 years. I almost always find our ornaments on Etsy, and this one came from this shop, who I love using for lots of our ornaments!!
Another fun and different one, but Pierce's dad is a big fly-fisher, and we found this Fly Fishing organizer for him one year and loved it so much. He always loves going fishing in Wyoming whenever he can, so we loved that he would have something to organize all of his "flies" in. I also loved that it was homemade, and I am a sucker for pretty much anything leather - haha! His shop also has lots of other leather organizers.
This is a sweet one that I made for Pierce one Christmas while we were dating. I had seen the idea somewhere and decided I would venture to Home Depot to try it... I bought a small piece of wood, stained it, stenciled in the verse, and then sat on my porch for two hours in the freezing cold nailing nails and then threading twine around the nails... I remember our neighbor coming out to see what I was "building" 😂 But it's a sweet piece that still lives in our room today... My little sister has made me something similar for Christmas one year too, and it's still one of my very favorites. You can also find these on Etsy in every shape and size too.
Speaking of homemade, I made these photo cubes for Pierce one Father's Day, and they have been a favorite for his desk. You can read about them here, but you can also find them on Etsy here, and they are such a fun and customized gift!!
Speaking of Etsy, this is another simple, but really fun one. It's simply a wood-burned picture with a little stand, but it's perfect for a desk or at the office. This is also a fun one for really anyone on your list too. You can find this specific Etsy shop here, and I've loved everything I've ever ordered from them!!
This is a bigger one for a bigger event, but it's definitely a fun gift to give. This specific one is one that Pierce's family worked together on for Pierce's dad 60th birthday, but this would make for a fun Christmas gift if you were looking to celebrate a big anniversary or birthday in your family!
Her shop does such a great job, and they have so many other designs and signs too!!
This is another sweet and simple gift, but one that I LOVE to give. On Zazzle.com, you can upload a picture and put it on a little deck of playing cards, and it truly is a favorite every time I make it. It's fun to make, it's fun to give, it's fun to receive, and it makes card nights a little extra sweet too!!
And then just for a few last more practical and simple ones...We love Life is Good t-shirts for our dads. There is almost always a perfect shirt for pretty much any occasion. We've done fishing for Pierce's dad mowing for mine and everything in-between too.
This one is simple, practical and fun. We've given this as a gift several times, and Pierce loves his!
And I've even grabbed this cup holder, so that it would fit in his truck when he took it to work!
And lastly, this Rtic cooler is a favorite and a gift we received, but one we use so often!!
I know there are so many others, but those are the ones that come to mind first and that have been favorites for sure. I can't wait to hear and read about so many others! It's always just fun seeing new ideas!!! Here's to Christmas shopping for the ones we love and making the holidays a little extra special this year!!! Thanks Shay and Erika for the fun blog link-up today too!!
I'll plan to see you back here tomorrow!!
Sending lots of love!
