Happy Tuesday!!! Well, we had the very best weekend. Filled to the brim with family and friends and a house full of coziness - we loved our day at Christmas Village, and I had to wait one extra day to put up Christmas because it only felt right for a little fall to still be up for our small group's Friendsgiving. But Sunday afternoon, we went from fall to Christmas in a few hours, and I couldn't love it more. Before I officially shift into Christmas mode over here, I thought it would be fun to share one last post with a few snapshots from our house this fall. Honestly, we kept it pretty simple this year, but it was cozy and fun still and exactly what we needed in this busy season.
We had more pumpkins and mums and a mini hay bale on our list for far too long, but honestly, this one little pumpkin made it all season long, and it actually just makes me smile.
It made its way into many pictures this fall...
And was just a perfect little touch of fall - simple and sweet for sure!!
We added our two scarecrows for Friendsgiving...
And if you look closely, you can see a third that greeted the guests 😉 This is how most people find Jane when they come over, and it makes everyone laugh - us inside as she tells us "THEY'RE HERE!!!" and to the guests walking up with a little greeter! It's a sweet memory of these little years for sure...
And I couldn't love her little welcoming-self more!!
Inside, we honestly really did keep it simple as well...
My favorite little stackable pumpkin came out for the season...
Jane had a little pumpkin basket, an amazingly sweet new little book, and a picture that honestly will be changed out soon probably with little Andy here, but one that will always be SO special in becoming parents too!!
I honestly still need to pull out some paint for these littles this year, but seeing Jane's little hand from last year was so sweet too!!
Her little kitchen stayed pretty simple, with a little pumpkin, a tiny scarecrow, and a little homemade kitchen towel that my mom gifted her from a craft fair last year. We kept her little summer sunflowers up, and I loved them for this season too!!
Her little turkey was a fun addition to the playroom/study this year!!
We moved it to the wall after it kept trying to fly away every time we opened the door 😉
But such a special part of the season for sure!!
We loved Just Ingredients Pumpkin Spice candle this year!!
And I loved the addition of my little acrylic frames this year too for little Bible verses!!
Toward the end of the season, we remembered this little kitchen towel too that my mom also bought at a little fall craft fair last year...
Simple, but fun!!
The living room stayed largely the same with just a few little additions!
One, the fire 😉 Pierce doesn't like the combo of air conditioner running and fire place on, but with a warmer fall, we had a little give and take most days hahaha
Two, this pillow. It was a little fall treat I found when we were early married, and I love it so much still!!
The piano had a little thing of sunflowers and a small terracotta pumpkin...
And this little chair became a favorite for the mornings...
Usually with the screen-door open beside it, which is the very best!!
For Friendsgiving though, we moved the chair more to the living room to make room for more tables, and I just loved it so much!!
So simple, but so cozy!
I of course had my beeswax pumpkin candle out! And Audrey gifted us these leather coasters one year, and we love them so much! We have TN and TX, and they are so fun and simple to use!!
And our sweet little fall truck, of course! I bought him at a little boutique in middle TN one year, and it just signals fall!!
We kept Jane's room simple, and I just added a little touch of leaves to her house!
And a little pumpkin sign for Andy's room!
And really, that about does it for a few little snapshots of fall around our home. This season flew by, and it really did feel like we kept it simple, but maybe it's just what we knew we needed! I love seeing people's homes, especially in these fun and cozy months, so hope it was sweet seeing a few snapshots, and here's to enjoying the crunchy leaves and fall weather...
...and Christmas decorations that come right on the heels of this fun season too. ☺️
Thanks for following along as always!! If you want to see other Riddick home posts, you can find all of them here. I hope you have the very best morning, filled with something warm and the fireplace on (even if your AC is still possibly running in the background at times 😉 hahaha)!
I'll plan on seeing you back here tomorrow!!
Sending lots of love!
