Friends, I am just popping in to say that we are here, we are safe and warm! Thanks for everyone checking in on us... Nashville got hit VERY hard with ice this weekend, and we were very fortunate to only have damage to our fence and power line out front, but goodness, it's been a hard weekend for our city.

Aww Happy Friday!!! We are cozying up over here with the freezing weather moving in and hopefully soaking in a few more January favorites at the same time! Frame This Moment - Saturday Mornings

Happy Thursday!! And Frame This Moment Day!! Is anyone else getting ready for the snow/ice this weekend? Jane has her fingers crossed that we get some white fluffy snow to play in, and we are simultaneously praying that our power stays on and for everyone to stay safe and warm this weekend too!! But today's frame this moment is from last weekend, and is just the simplest little moment on a Saturday morning.

Frame This Moment - Breakfast.

Happy Thursday, friends!! A favorite day of the week. 

Three years ago, I started this little series, "Frame This Moment," after a blog I used to read in high school. She was a mom of three who had just moved to Hawaii for her husband's job and encouraged everyone to start "framing" little moments of their day, their life, their season, thanking the Lord for the little things and the joy that was all around us. It always stuck with me and documenting little "moments" every Thursday in this space has been such a blessing to me. Some weeks, I feel like I don't have a "perfect" moment to frame, but every week, I love the practice of slowing down enough to see the small things through a lens of savoring and enjoying. When I look back on these posts, I can't help but smile. There is sure a variety, but what a gift it is to see the Lord's goodness through tiny snapshots of moments in our life. January A to Z ❄️

Happy Wednesday, my friends!!! Well, we are almost half way through January, and I thought I'd share today just a few things about this sweet, cozy month! Sure, it can be cold, and it can feel long, it can even feel a little sad at times right off the heels of Christmas, but I have come to love this month, and today I thought I'd share a few reasons it's a favorite over in over house. This doesn't include everything, but hopefully it makes your January 14th a little happier and brighter!! So without further-ado, here are just a few reasons we love January! 

Christmas 2025 Snapshots ✨

Happy, happy Tuesday!!! Oh, it's so fun to be back here. Thank you for everyone who filled out the blog survey last week - I loved reading so many ideas and now have a fun list to blog through this year. Today I thought it would be fun to share a few snapshots from our Christmas break. We celebrated Christmas at our house, and then spent a few days in Louisville getting to see family and friends and lots of rest and recovery (from that dreaded stomach bug), and then were home with a few days left to ring in 2026 and soak in some home time before back to schedules and rhythms in the new year... It was a sweet break, so without further ado, here are just a few snapshots from Christmas!
