Frame This Moment - A Full Circle Teaching Moment

Happy, happy Thursday!! And Frame This Moment Day!! Today's little moment just felt like a true full circle moment for me... 

Jane has been very interested in my "teaching boxes" recently that used to sit on my classroom shelves, and we got down the "Easter" one this week. There are many things that are still a little above where she is right now, but these little Easter eggs and matching chicks were a fun hit. 

I snapped this picture and had to smile because I'm not sure how many students I watched at little desks work on things just like this, and it is truly hard to believe that now it's Jane. First, how is she old enough for things like this? Second, why does it feel like it was just yesterday and also so long ago at the same time that I was doing this with students in a classroom? The whole thing just feels surreal and a true full circle moment... 

There are those little boxes up there on the shelf... 

And this is little Andy trying to get in on the fun hahaha a sweet morning and a moment to frame for sure!
