Friday Favorites - March Memories, Easter Eggs, and Grandparents in Town

Happy, happy Friday!!! I hope everyone had such a great week and that it is warm and sunny where you are! We are loving the sunshine here in Nashville!! Today I just have a few snapshots and also a few throwback favorites as well in this little month of March! I hope you are finding simple joys in your days as well!! Here are a few of ours!!

Well, this sweet picture popped up and was taken exactly FIVE years ago today. Who were these kids playing at sunset without any kids?! Hahaha It feels like yesterday and at the same time, a lifetime ago!! Truly haha

I mentioned this in my Life Lately post, but Easter this year is extra special for us because it's also Jane's birthday, so we have been making our fair share of Easter decorations, and the kids have just loved this little Easter Egg kit.
I was so impressed with how much it came with, and they have loved it. We've had a few guests over throughout the week, and Jane wanted to make an Easter egg with each of them haha a favorite this week for sure!!

Another throwback that came up was Jane's last lap child flight in March 2024. This girl has flown with us quite a bit, but this flight was sweet and special as her last time without her own seat (which ironically, she basically had in the middle, but had to be in our lap for take off and landing.) We have learned a lot flying with littles, but it always looks easier looking back on pictures. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Another favorite this week is one I posted last March as well, but it's a simple breakfast that has become a favorite over here. It's basically a "grain-free" take on German pancakes and mainly four simple ingredients (with a few I sometimes also add.)
I snapped this picture last year before Jane and I started putting it together one morning. You can find recipes for "German pancakes" all over, but I ended up making ours a bit smaller and have just been doing about 2 tbsp butter put in a smaller glass pan as the oven preheats to 400ยบ. I add three eggs, 2/3 cup milk (usually coconut milk or anything we have on hand), and 2/3 cup protein powder to the blender, along with a tiny bit of vanilla (and sometimes I add a tiny bit of apple cider vinegar to help the consistency or a tiny bit of maple syrup just to sweeten it a little). Then just pour the blended mix into the melted butter once the oven is preheated, cook for 20 minutes, and we have found that it's simple breakfast, filled with protein, it's easy and the kids love it!

And lastly, we have Pierce's parents in town this weekend, and we are looking forward to some quality time and lots of sunshine!!

Just a few Friday favorites for you today!! I hope everyone is having such a wonderful March and has the very best weekend. We are off to enjoy this beautiful day and a fun weekend with family!!! Thanks as always for following along and thanks Erika and Andrea for the fun blog link-up too!

Happy Friday!!
