Happy March

Hi friends! Happy March!!! A new month. Last week hit us pretty hard over here in the Riddick house... Jane started the week with a fever, I had a back injury that coincided with a work trip for Pierce, and he came home with a pretty bad bug that he picked up, so needless-to-say, we are hopeful the beginning of March starts off a little better than February ended... But today, I just have a little post to say Happy March!! 

March is such an in-between month for me, but I love that it's the official start to spring, a break from school for my teaching-heart, and it's that much closer to some of our very favorite few months. About this time of year, I am always itching for a house project, so I'm not sure what it will be this year, whether a small laundry room update or a little kitchen update, but hopefully March will be our month to do something fun house-wise. We have a little travel, some family coming in town, some things to plan for the spring and summer, and hopefully a whole lot of just getting back into rhythms and routines as well. 

The windows will be open as much as possible in our house this spring, and we will be trying to soak up all of the sunshine that this month holds!!

I'm going to spend a day or two getting everything back up and running in our house and family over here, but hopefully I'll be back later this week before our little trip this weekend!!
