What's Up Wednesday [March 2026]

Happy Wednesday!!! Hope everyone is having a great week so far! We can't believe it's the last week of March over here!! Today I thought I would jump on a little What's Up Wednesday link-up and share a few snapshots and updates of what we've been up to this month. It's been a simple, but sweet month for us over here! 

What We've Been Eating:

Well, our main meals that have truly bene on repeat recently...Chipotle Bowls... 

Mediterranean Bowls...

And pecan chicken... Pretty much add tacos and these are the meals that have started to be most requested in our home right now hahaha 

What We're Reminiscing About:

Well, tomorrow marks my due date with Jane four years ago, and I will never not think of it every March 26th. We had that day on the calendar and in our hearts for so long, and the Lord knew she needed an April birthday, but we will always still love that sweet day!!! 

What We're Loving:

Well, there sure is something SPECIAL about having friends in our lives that love on our kiddos...and we are sure thankful for all the time we got with a few of them this week! From Ms. Becky reading after small group... 

To Ms. Jenny making some Easter eggs with Jane... 

Ms. Emma meeting us at the park for a fun morning... 

And Ms. Becky going on a walk with us one morning while Jane was at preschool. We sure do feel so blessed and lucky to have so many sweet friends and are loving the weather to get to play with them more!! 

What We've Been Up To:

And speaking of perfect spring weather...that's basically where you can find us every day. 

We are trying hard to soak in all of these warm days!! 

And from mud-kitchens and time with friends... 

To "homemade brownies..."

...and tree climbing - we've been loving it all! 

What We're Dreading:

Well, Jane has her second "picture day" tomorrow, and why do my own feelings about picture day seem to come back when those words are mentioned?! Hahaha 

What We're Working On:

These kiddos have been crafting away this Easter season. 

This little Easter Egg kit was such a fun hit in our house this spring! (I also just printed out this simple and sweet little Etsy craft that tells the story of Easter to make with Jane soon too.) 

And I sure am tempted to enter back into my teaching days to make a little Easter storybook again with their hands and feet. The sweetest little keepsake for sure!! 

What We're Excited About:

Well, we are trying hard to get this little foursome back to the beach sometime soon and are hoping that it happens!! 🌴

What We've Been Watching/Reading:

Survivor 50 has been a fun one that we've been loving this season! 

And Andy would like me to point out that he is loving watching "BALL" any chance he gets hahaha 

As for reading, it's no surprise about my love for Denise Hunter, and her newest book is coming out in April, which I can't wait to read. I have also come to love Courtney Walsh and her "Summer of Yes" was recommended to me and led me to reading so many of her books over the past year. And recently I found Valerie M. Bodden and her "Hope Springs" series. I've loved them so far - just sweet, pure, Christian fiction romance novels that Pierce borderline gives me a hard time for loving so much 😉 Just incase you're looking for anything in that realm for your spring/summer!! And if you have anything too that you recommend I read next!!  

What We've Been Listening To:

Well, our windows have pretty much been living open, and I love all of the sweet sounds of spring. Keep them coming!! 

What We've Been Wearing:

Well, Jane has been wearing lots of french braids and bows... 

And this little cutie was just about the biggest sport ever trying on some clothes that I snagged on a spring sale recently... 

We are beach ready over here!!! 

What We're Doing This Weekend:

We are planning on spending the weekend with Nana and Papa, and Jane and Andy (and us too) are counting down!!!

What We're Looking Forward To Next Month:

We just cannot even wait to celebrate little JANE ARBEL turning FOUR. Goodness...it just doesn't even seem possible... Bring on all the fun birthday (and Easter!!) celebrations!! 

What We're Thankful For:

Time with these littles. 

It's going by fast, and I'm trying hard to soak it in. 

And forever thankful for time with Pierce too.
