Frame This Moment - A Carousel Ride 🎠

Happy, happy Thursday!!! And Frame This Moment Day! Today is a favorite for Jane that she has been so proud to tell so many people about this week...

When we were at the Farmer's Market on Saturday, we ventured through "The Factory at Franklin" and came across the sweetest little carousel
It was beautiful and every single animal was hand-carved by Ken Means. He used to have a shop in The Factory where he would carve them, and now it's one of the only completely hand carved carousel in the US. It just opened this summer, and it's truly amazing... But if you know Jane, walking up to this felt like maybe her worst nightmare... She hasn't ever been our "animal lover" and to have 32 very big animals riding around next to her was, needless-to-say, a little overwhelming... She stood in line with us, but when we got up to buy a ticket, she said maybe she could do it "when she was bigger." We said of course, snapped a picture and then continued on inside...
As we were walking around shopping, she looked up at me and said, "I'm thinkkkking about riding the horseys." It made me smile and made me realize she was really wanting to conquer her "fear" deep down... It took two more tries of standing in line, but the third time, I could tell she was going to do it.
She picked the littlest horse on the outside and hugged my neck as she was getting on.
But this little girl ended up loving it. We were SO proud of her. She talked about how she had courage even when she was afraid, and I really think it was a BIG milestone for her. She told all her grandparents and just about everyone she has seen this week, "I was scared at the beginning, but then I did it!" A sweet little moment to frame for sure!
This little kid was right next to her and couldn’t have loved being along for the ride more hahaha
It was a special morning for sure! Jane is counting down the days now till she can go back and ride the giraffe "next to Andy." "And maybe when I'm bigger, I can ride the bigger horse too." Hahaha she is a sweet one, and we were so proud of her for this big day!!
A little unexpected frame this moment!! If you're ever in Franklin, it's the sweetest little stop for sure!!

And there's just a little moment from our weekend to slow down and remember. Thanks for following along and thanks as always for sharing yours too!! I'll plan on seeing you back here tomorrow! Here's to enjoying the little things, celebrating the big things, and soaking in all the moments in-between too!! And HAPPIEST of BIRTHDAYS too to our sweet little cousin Lucy!!! 💕 We love celebrating on July 17th!!!

Sending lots of love today!
