Snapshots from the Beach 2025

Happy, happy Wednesday!!! Today I thought it would be fun to share a few snapshots from our time at the beach. We love heading down to the beach in the fall with my family, but this year my mom had a quilting retreat near the coast at the beginning of June (have I ever mentioned my mom is an absolute amazing quilter?! Maybe a blog post on that one day?!) and with *two* (both of our sisters are expecting!) little nephews coming this fall and not knowing what fall travel looks like, we decided to join them for a week early summer, and we loved it!!

The weather was amazing, the sun was out all week, the water was warm, and we just really enjoyed the week. My sweet sister and her husband were on their own little baby moon, so it was just my parents and the four of us, and Jane and Andy loved all the time with Nana and Papa! 

We had most everything packed up Friday night, so we were up and at'em on Saturday morning to head to the beach! 

The kids did great and were SO excited to finally make it!! 

We made it right before sunset! 

And little Andy was loving technically his second time to the beach, but the first to really "enjoy" it. 

Just the best time with grandparents!!! And a moment to frame for sure!!! 

The next morning and pretty much every one after that, we were up and at'em and loving our time in the sand, in the sun, and in the water. 

The very best Papa! 

Lots and lots and lots of sand castles built and buckets of water brought from the ocean to play with haha 

This little boy was just delighted to experience it all! 

Sweet buddy! We are so glad he loved the sand so much! 

And we loved watching this one play all week too. She felt so much bigger than that little six month old we brought the first time!! 

And boy did she have FUN! 

She loved, loved, loved her time with Daddy, especially in the pool! They swam pretty much every minute they could - even in the rain! 

And this might be my favorite picture ever hahaha Jane just having the TIME of her life!! 

They sure loved time with Daddy all week! 

And I loved snapping a few pictures too. 

I did a post on this here, but this little case was just my very favorite beach find of the whole trip. 

Being able to have it in the ocean was just too fun. 

And snapping some pictures in the pool was a favorite too! 

This little one just HAPPY to be along!! 

And always making us laugh with his shenanigans...

And we loved watching this little girl's creations come to life too. 

Our slower paced mornings were hard to beat... 

Especially with this view...take me back!! 

And to these cuties in their beach pajamas that Nana got them! You can find Jane's cute little set here and Andy's here - they were SUCH a hit!! 

We checked off another of our "Summer of Letter Fun" and flew a kite on the beach... 

The windy days were perfect for it!! 

My sweet mom finished one of her amazing quilts while we were down there... 

One of Jane's favorite things is helping "Nana with her sewing." These two are truly two peas in a pod!! Their love for sandals and all!

And these two really bonded this trip... 

Andy's FAVORITE thing to do was point with Papa and look for "doggies." He still does it to this day looking for those sweet little doggies hahaha 

I loved watching them play. Andy is pretty much his mini-me! 

We went out for a little early dinner mid-week.

Jane really wanted me to get a picture of her in this corner of the porch, and the whole thing is just a favorite hahaha 

Who is this little three year old?! 

I love her so much!!! 

And I love the boys too!! 

Jane loves to say, "The girls with the girls and the boys with the boys," all the time in our house, so it was sweet getting to snap a few pics together. 

And I of course had to get one with Daddy too!! 

We were so thankful for my parents and letting us join them for their week at the beach! 

And probably our favorite thing was watching the sun set over the water... 

Some nights we watched from the dock...

The ones Jane loved the most 😉 

And some we just played on the beach... 

But all were just so nice...the cool evening beach air is just hard to beat... 

What a week we are thankful for!!

And the fun and crazy that these two littles bring with them... 

To Nana and Papa and the blessing they are to us!! 

Cape San Blas, you really are a special one!! We love the beach (so much so we got married on this white sand 🥰😉) and feel so thankful that we get to take our kids to a place that's so dear to us! We are thankful for all the memories this week held.
