Life Lately 7.22.25

Happy, happy Tuesday!!! I hope everyone had such a great weekend!! Ours was busy and full and filled with lots of community, but we loved it all!!! I thought today I would just share a few pictures of what we've been up to around here... Just a few snapshots of daily life and little moments. Hope you're staying cool and enjoy these pictures on this Tuesday morning! 

Well, these two cuties are definitely favorites these days. They are getting to be a FUN age, and I really have been having a lot of fun with them both these days... 

Jane has been loving these steps at our church recently, and asks quite often if I can, "Take a picture of her on them." 

And the whole family jumped in a few Sundays ago. Please note Jane trying to make Andy laugh hahaha our favorite pictures these days... 

We took a little Sunday trip to a favorite little bookstore on our Summer of Letter Fun list, and it was a hit. 

Jane picked Andy out an "animal book," Pierce found a marble maze puzzle that his roommates had in college, and Jane discovered the joy of "Little Golden Books," which I couldn't have loved more! 

I discovered the beauty of bringing their "snack cups" with me to the store and filling it with little grapes or cereal as we shop 😂 

Jane's sweet little friend had a fever one day, so Jane made her a card and wanted me to "take a picture and send it to her." The sweetest!

Lots and lots of play set time in the mornings! Jane loves when she gets to "swing with her baby." 

This little kid has discovered his love for frozen blueberries hahaha 

Oh, the joy (and the mess 😂) this little one brings to meal times hahaha we love it all though!

I had to capture this little scene the other day when we got home from the library...it didn't last long, but I LOVE the book stage. Picture books, board books, paperback books, library books, as a teacher, my heart just soars when I see them flipping through books, and I love that Andy is getting old enough to join Jane too. 

We had so much fun putting together a little baby shower gift for my sweet sister and her little BOY to be!! Jane *really* wanted to get Aunt Audrey the bathtub on her registry, so we had so much fun getting things to fill it and going to "the baby shop" to put Noah's little name on his towel. 

What a treat to get to celebrate this sweet sister!!! 

This little one loved spending 4th of July up in Louisville!!

To "driving" the real thing...this kid LOVES a good steering wheel hahaha 

This little one loved the bounce house! 

But the pool will forever and always be her VERY favorite!!! (This flamingo still going strong all these years later... haha)

Sheesh how is she so big!!! 

We loved all the time we got with this little one in the pool!! 

And this little one was loving the lounging that came along with it hahaha 

We love our time up in Louisville, especially when we get to play croquet in the evenings too!! It's been a family favorite for as long as I can remember... 

I just LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the morning I got with my two best friends I used to teach with. It was such a treat to get in a little morning walk with *all* the babies and then a little afternoon at the pool. You can read a little bit more about my years teaching with them here, but goodness, they are a gift! 

Jane loved floating with them like she was one of the girls! She listened two nine months of chatting with these two, so she felt right at home three years later!! Hahaha 

A favorite right now for this little one is playing "bagel shop," where she will ring us up for the bagels we are buying and give them to us through the "window." 

One day I was helping Andy with something, so couldn't buy any bagels, but she found a customer and I thought it was the cutest thing hahaha 

We've loved mornings in the little pool with friends... 

And Jane has been loving the afternoons with her scooter...

This little one loved joining me for sunrise thanks to a little molar coming in 😂 

We loved our time at the Farmer's Market and a little brave moment for this little girl on the carousel. 

And we have loved this little corner of the couch since 2019 and six years later, it's still a favorite to sneak in a few minutes of a favorite show at the end of the night when we can...

It's a busy and fun and full season that we are SO thankful for!!
